Our selection this month is the coming of age tale Tell the Wolves I'm Home by Carol Rifka Brunt.

We are meeting in person somewhere on the south shore on Sunday November 24th. You can RSVP for the event here: https://www.goodreads.com/event/show/...

Whether you attend the event or not, feel free to post your thoughts on the book here in this topic.

So far, this is another month where I am playing the waiting game with the library for this one. If I don't get an email from the library by tomorrow I will buy an electronic or hard copy. :)

Jackie | 59 comments I just bought it! I'm enjoying it so far. Hopefully I can finish before Sunday and go. Grad school is kicking my butt! (But it's great.)

I ended up buying the e-book and I am reading it on my phone. I am about 30% through it so far and so far so good.

Lynn | 131 comments I'm in the same situation. Will be reading a lot tomorrow!

Jackie | 59 comments I am flying through it and can't put it down. I'm walking down sidewalks reading it. You will get through it I have faith. I love it so far.

I finished reading "Tell the Wolves I'm Home" a few days ago. I definitely liked the book and would highly recommend it. :)

I actually finished this yesterday!

Jackie | 59 comments So did I! And I immediately gave it to my best friend to read.

message 10: by Lisa (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lisa | 0 comments I finished it the other day, rated it a 3. But then found myself continuing to think about the characters and to me, that is a sign of a well told story. I upped it to a 4. What's sticking with me is that the story could have become a heavy handed morality story, but did not. It was simply the story of a family.

I feel like taking a nap but have to leave in about an hour for the book club meeting.

And i just noticed how the message headers on the posts in this topic show what people who have rated the book gave it in stars. cool!

Jackie | 59 comments I appreciated that the story was about family. Though I'm still disappointed that they had the painting redone.
