Theo Shapiro | 20 comments Is anyone watching Once Upon a Time in Wonderland? I've watched all three episodes and I still can't decide if I like it or not. I love Once Upon a Time, but I just can't tell if it's worth sticking with the spin off. What does everyone else think?

Tara (tarabookreads) | 58 comments I've watched all three too. I like it, but not love it. I was afraid they'll ruin the real Alice in Wonderland story but it seems that they have made an entire new one based on the original. I love Alice in Wonderland, the book, so I'll continue to watch the series. I do wonder though how the storyline will progress...

Theo Shapiro | 20 comments I agree, I am a giant fan of Lewis Carol and most things based off his work, but I'm just not sure. Is it me or is the caterpillar the exact same character as jabba the hut?

message 4: by Kythe42 (new)

Kythe42 I've watched all the episodes so far. It's ok and some parts have really made me laugh. So I'm enjoying it somewhat but not enough at this point to say that I love it. Sometimes shows take awhile to grow on me though. My number one favorite show of all time(Stargate Atlantis) I didn't even really like that much at first, but then it grew on me in an unbelievable way.

I'm definitely going to keep watching it to see how things play out Alice in Wonderland is one of those stories that I just love to see in any version that might come out. I also feel the same way about The Wizard of Oz.

As for the caterpillar, now that you mention it, I think you're right that his character is very much like Jabba the Hut.

Peggy (psramsey) | 393 comments I haven't watched it yet, but I have seen the commercials. Every time I see Naveen Andrews with his curly locks and fancy outfits, I think, "Sayid would be SO embarrassed if he could seem himself right now."

Julia | 957 comments When I saw that the second werewolf from the British "Being Human" was on it, then that Naveen Andrews is also in it, means I've watched the first three.

Whether I'll still be watching when the sixth episode airs, who knows...

Melinda Brasher | 78 comments I really liked the first half of the first episode. The visual contrast of the insane asylum vs. Wonderland was fantastic. Then Alice went Xena Warrior Princess on me, and I started losing interest. Plus, I'm tired of TV shows that you MUST watch week to week, or you're totally lost. Still, I might catch up later.

Kevin (kevinhallock) | 60 comments My wife and I watched the first episode and decided it wasn't for us. Nothing really clicked.

Whitney (whitneychakara) | 115 comments Sadly I am annoyed by all the characters and find myself making fun of them "awwww so sad for you booohoo sike I don't care HA"

Serena | 62 comments I am annoyed that I watched it all and-gah!- how dare they do a epilogue episode like that? Not that I don't like conclusions...but come on, it practically guarantees that Alice won't be in Once Upon A Time and I had been really hoping to see her there. Nope it's all Knave of Hearts/Will Scarlet in Once Upon A Time now and I just want to know where the White Queen is...?
