Katie | 5 comments Hi guys! Okay so I know some of you from TNBBC. I took a little break from the goodreads groups for a while b/c my work load at school was just absolutely monstrous, but I'm back :) This group looks awesome mostly b/c I have such a soft spot for YA. So anyways, I love YA fantasy, science fiction, and classics. My two faves are I Capture the Castle and the Harry Potter series. Can't wait to join in!

Katie | 5 comments Thanks everyone :)

Luann ~ Buffy and Firefly are two of the best TV shows ever. Joss Whedon is a personal idol of mine. Did you watch Dollhouse? I haven't been able to get into it...maybe when it comes out on DVD

Laura ~ Yeah, Fiona was the one that recommended the book, and I'm really glad that I decided to read it. I'm not sure if I'm wild yet haha. What does that entail exactly? Are there specific guidelines ;)

Yes, I watched Dollhouse. In the beginning, I thought it was just okay but not a show to rearrange my schedule for or anything. It definitely got better (more like you expect from Joss with twists, unexpected surprises, and great character development) as the season continued. AND Alan Tudyk (Wash from Firefly) shows up as a very unWash-like character for several of the episodes at the end. I recommend watching it just for that! Last time I checked, all the episodes were still available to watch online, although it's been awhile since I last looked.

There's been some discussion about Dollhouse, and other Firefly-related topics at the Browncoats group here. (I moderate the group, and couldn't resist putting in a plug! There's also a Buffy group, if you're interested.)

Amanda (amandaroby) Welcome! I loved Buffy, and enjoyed Firefly quite a bit, too. Not enough to consider myself a major fan, but it was a great show. I need to order I Capture the Castle from the library, since everyone keeps talking it up! Anyway, I hope you enjoy the group as much as I do.
