Ellie (theelliemo) Here's a little bit about how this group is organised. There are 5 main group read threads, and you can pick and choose which ones, if any, you want to join in on. These are:

Monthly Boxall's Reads:
These are randomly selected from the current edition of Boxall's 1001 Books to Read Before You Die. Three titles are selected, with a poll then put up to decide which one we will read. We start each one around the 15th of the month.

Quarterly Boxall's Reads:
Some of the novels in Boxall's are quite weighty tomes, so we have opted to allow ourselves three months for those, alongside the monthly ones.

Monthly Author:
Each month, we select an author from the Bloomsbury Good Reading Guide and read as many or as few books by that author as we can manage!

Seasonal Side Reads:
A little dalliance once per quarter, tying in with the seasons of the year, for example, spooky Halloween, Christmas cheer, Easter tidings, summer holidays.

Readalongs:
Born out of a few of us wanting to tackle some of the Man Booker prize shortlist, we set up this section to discuss books we were reading together outside of our main groups. Readalongs could have as few as two people reading the book together and sharing their comments, or it could end up being the entire group!

We have several other threads as well, on which I shall write more in a later post
