Yes i agree. I hope they aren't just going to be completely written out of the rest of the series. Im kind of conflicted because as much as i want them to come back, it just seems highly unlikely and too good to be true. I mean, you can't win a war without a few casualties, right? :P
The whole seeing ghosts thing is plausible though! They aren't really "there" but they are. They could give guidance while the living are in battle and see what will happen next! That would definitely be an advantage!
I think that if he just forgot about Eight(not to mention One) the rest of the series, someone would send him on an one-way trip to the afterlife. The ghosts thing could also lead to some hysterical moments.
Yeah... do not just kill a great character and not let anyone get revenge!!!I know right? I could definitely see Marina, Six, or possibly even Ella (?) developing that kind of Legacy. Ella only because it seems like it could be a branch off of her already existing Telepathy. Marina and Adam would flip out if they could talk to their dead friends/lovers again, for sure.
They would. Especially Marina. And I can just imagine if FIVE developed that Legacy.........they would show no mercy. Or what if the dead Loric were able to come back as ghosts, but because of a part of the charm that none of them knew about all the Garde could see/hear them?
Oh Five.. somebody please shoot him. Unless he's useful.. then keep him for a bit. But yes. i hope the author somehow writes all this in!
Im just picturing all the Garde walking around with those stereotypical little devil and angel on their shoulders... in the form of the fallen Garde! xD
That would be HYSERICAL!!! Eight would be the angel and One would be the devil. I just know it.

No really I did notice. That could play into his coming back somehow, although it reminds me of Frankenstein and threrefore creeps me out. I hope that if he does come back, it does not involve dead bodies.
One and Eight teaming up... Oh boy!! Yes!! :D Yeah i noticed too! and it bothers me that they just left him there! between them all, you would have thought that they could have come up with some way to transport him too! i dont know, but it seems very set up... guess we'll have to wait to find out!
How would they transport Eight, they are on the run again. One and Eight teaming up would be awesome!! I can see them annoying the hell out of the Mogs, cause they can't be killed since they're dead!

Oooooh, just had an idea!What if it was part of the charm that all of the numbers could see each others ghosts? So they wouldn't need a Legacy for it.
And do you think we have any possibility of meeting the real Number Ten?
Well if One and Eight teamed up and started mentally talking to the Mogs during battle, or whenever, the Mogs would complain about seeing ghosts and hearing voices. Thats possible, but wouldn't somebody have already been in contact with 1, 2, 3, and 8?
And who is this "real" Number Ten? If Ella isn't, who is? or do you mean that there really was supposed to be a Tenth Elder that was different from Ella's ancestor?
Remember in Henri's letter? "There were supposed to be ten of you, but only nine made it off." I don't know about anyone else, but once I found out that Ella wasn't the real Ten, I began entertaining the possibility that Ten was still out there................Who knows where their ghosts went? That might have been why no one's seen them yet.
Okay now i see what you mean. If only nine made it off, not including Ella, then she was never meant to be THE Tenth, shes just one of ten who survived. And yeah, until we find that out, we can't erase the possibility :D
I would love to see a legacy that brings back the dead but it would be overpowered and people would go running in without caring. Unless someone heals 8 because his body will be preserved and maybe 123 aswell and then the person with that legacy dies and they are back to 8 garde
Yeah that would be good, or the strain of bringing back 1 2 3 and 8 killed whoever had the Legacy, maybe Ella would have it?
yeah that sounds good but i was thinking maybe 5 will have it and will bring back 8 because he feels bad. i also hope that it will kill him in the process. i dont know how they are going to get 1 2 and 3s bodies because didnt 1 get submerged in rock when adam caused the earthquake at the base. 2 and 3 could still be preserved somewhere.
I hope that happens! That could actually be exciting! Except, i doubt Five would have that Legacy (and die in the process of using it) because that would just be too simple. The entire fandom would be in a state of euphoria and then there would no longer be a bad guy xD

What if One, Two, Three, and Eight came back?
They could come back to life if someone developed a Legacy for it.
Or they could be ghosts, kind of following the living
Lorics around, and we could find they've been doing it for quite some time, and one of the Garde developed like, a Legacy for seeing ghosts?
That would be insane and insanely AWESOME.
