Ellen (thellenator) THE GOOSE GIRL IS A LITTLE OUT THERE, BUT IT'S DEFINATELY A GOOD BOOK.

message 220: by Ellen (new)

Ellen (thellenator) I LOVE SHANNON HALE. SHE'S SUCH A GREAT WRITER...I THINK SO ANYWAY...

message 221: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah. She's good. There was a little bit of a strange part in Goose Girl that she really could have just left out but all in all fabulous book.

message 222: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (JourneyStar) | 56 comments pie is gross, and what part of Goose Girl is just "out there and she could have left out" it all fit pretty nicely in my opinion. and if you're aloud to read Princess Academy (which is classified as an adult fiction) then you should be able to read Goose Girl

The little history thing where the Bayern people go to war....and the women show their husbands....and they swear....

message 224: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (JourneyStar) | 56 comments Brittany wrote: "wait does she describe "stuff" like SM does??? if so, then i'm never reading ANY of her work"

oh... that's something you just don't dwell on though. other than that, which isn't that bad in my opinion it's nothing like SM's stuff. it's better writing quality and a lot more interesting. you get more for you're reading and it's not "fluff" like twilight. and the whole thing isn't romance, only like an 1/8, and Ani doesn't do anything stupid, and she thinks, unlike Bella.

message 225: by Ellen (new)

Ellen (thellenator) hmm....i like her books....

you guys don't do that much reading then, at least, that kind of type of book or that level, you just have to sort of skip over it and not think about it all the time, seriously. I read it but I'm not "scared for life".

message 230: by [deleted user] (new)

Ha ha! You mean scarred? Well I just didn't think it was necessary.

message 231: by [deleted user] (new)

same here. and normally I do skip that or don't get books with that at all.

message 232: by [deleted user] (new)

i don't even remember that part in the book!!! LOL :)

message 233: by [deleted user] (new)

yeah... that part is a little weird.

message 234: by [deleted user] (new)
