Jamie Dornan to replace Charlie Hunnam! What do you guys think?

I love him since OUAT and he perfect for the character as Hunman was too. I already imagine him as Grey,he just .. ahn.. need to speak like an american bc he accent is terribleeeee.

Definitely a better choice than Charlie! My heart is still with Matt Bomer though, he's just how I imagined Christian to be!
No way... I can't seem him as Christian Grey. He doesn't have the intensity.

I think it is such a better casting choice! I can totally see Christian potential there.
Charlie is a much better actor than he is, imo. I think that's more important than how cute he is but whatever. The fans generally seem to be much happier with this choice. What's done is done. Hopefully, the movie won't flop in epic proportions like Glitter or Waterworld or After Earth.

I'm not crazy about Dakota as Ana either but perhaps after a makeover she'll surprise us all. Clearly they all see something we don't so I'm keeping the faith. Definitely happy with Jamie though. I'd been rooting for Matt Bomer since day one but Jamie was the first actual contender that made me sit up and take notice. Streamed The Fall on Netflix this past weekend and he was fantastic in that! I was happy with Charlie but this I am ecstatic over!
In general I think that Charlie is hotter. He is just more my type. However I think that Jamie is better suited to the role.
I agree Leslie! Charlie is super hot and I love and respect him so much as an actor...but Jamie is definitely more like how I envisioned CG looking. I was crushed when he backed out. I'm just so relieved they found this guy to replace him! :)
I think Charlie is hotter personally, but this guy fits the bill. I really think the movies is gonna be a bomb though, I don't see it translating well to film.
I think the film is going to be very different. It has to be with an R-rating. I think if people just accept that fact, they might enjoy its incarnation into film more. I'm kind of treating them as separate entities at this point. Just trying to keep an open mind about it all. Films are rarely as good as the books but I think this has the potential to be a unique and emotional love story, regardless of how much sex is actually involved.

Michael de Luca (one of the producers) said it was gonna be rated R in a recent interview, but they won't really know until filming is completed. Perhaps an uncut version will be released on DVD but I'll be surprised if it's NC-17.

Well this new replacement is hot!!! I haven't seen before!!! I hope that will meet the deadline 1st August, 2014 and not delay it any longer!!

Even if I'm one of those who always thought that the perfect Christian is Matt Bomer, I really like Jaime as Mr. Grey as well. Actor and model, what else? Anyway, Ian Somerhalder never was an option for me, idk.

If you saw Jamie Dornan in "The Fall" you would think he is perfect for this role. He is soooo gorgeous, but his dark side is so dark. Great choice!

I was NOT happy with the dude from Sons of Anarchy but I actually do like this guy! He looks a little young for me but... I think he'll be just fine. He's a Calvin Klein model which means he'll be comfortable with his body.
He certainly has the looks. A good actor should be able to pull it off. I think I like him better than CH. He's more in keeping what I thought CHristian looks like. Can't wait for the movie!
He pretty cute but not like my Charlie. Jamie looks pretty good for my daughter that 20. To much of a baby face. My Christian Grey is not such a metrosexual kinda guy he's a little more masculine.

I agree! those who dont think he is Christian may find that its not such a stretch after watching The Fall.

I was really hoping for Henry Cavill. In my humble opinion, physically he is the ideal Christian Grey! Check him out in The Tudors, he played Charles Brandon, AKA the Duke of Suffolk, King Henry's best friend! AMAZING!
When I saw him in Once A Upon Time, I had a crush on him so handsome! + sad he died in it;( like to see more of him ;)
