Lukas | 2 comments The book starts with the main character, Thomas, in a strange dark enclosed space. He has no memory of anything except for his name. The roof of what was a lift is opened and Thomas is helped out by a group of boys. Hes welcomed into a large open expanse trapped inside stone walls as tall as the eye can see. It is the glade and he soon finds out that it is a maze. So many questions arise but no one seems to have any answers. Will they ever escape this dungeon. After 2 years of searching for a way out many begin to loose hope. Upon Thomas's arrival weird things begin happening. Tensions grow as time is running out to find a solution. Perhaps the only salvation lies within Thomas's mind. He was sent there for a reason and in order to save himself and everyone else there Thomas most unlock the secrets in his mind. Whether he wants to or not.

I recently read the book The Maze Runner by James Dashner. I give this book a 5 out of 5 rating primarily because i couldn't think of any improvements that could be made. The fact that i read it in 4 days should be an indicator of how much i enjoyed it. The action kept me from putting it down. It was quite humorous at times as well and with basically all the characters being teen boys i could relate to some of them. The setting of the book is so bizarre that it gets you hooked from the get go. The suspense that comes with all the mysteries and secrets being revealed was really awesome. As for the whole series id say the first book is the best. After it the story line gets kind of generic but that's another story completely.I strongly encourage any and all readers to look at this book.

Definitely the most popular book this first run. I appreciate how you tried to add something different in your book talk.
