I was talking with a member of our fabulous group and she was telling me how she hates it when she can't remember a book, series, or author. Don't we all hate that?

Jeanne Drzewiecki Thanks Carrie for doing this!
I was the one trying for the life of me to figure out the name of the author/book series - since my intial panic my brain kicked in and I figured out who I was looking for!

I will however see if anyone else can figure it out!

One of the main characters "used" to be Loki but goes by another name. Odin also plays the bad guy in this series of books.

Hint: The author is a GoodReads author!

Samantha Strong (samanthalstrong) | 11 comments OK, so I have no hope that anyone is going to be able to help me with this, but since this thread is here, I'm gonna try. ;)

When I was in junior high or so, I loved a creepy paranormal book about clocks. I read it a billion times but then I lost it. At the time, I didn't know what steampunk was, so I can't even tell you if it was a steampunk book. It was likely a YA book, but it could have been an MG book.

So there you have it: A YA or MG creepy paranormal book about clocks that was published in the mid-90's or earlier. Go!

Teresa (teresareasor) | 5 comments It wouldn't be a John Bellairs book titled The House With A Clock In It's Walls.

I think that's it! The title sounds really familiar, although I'm not 100% sure. This is definitely not the cover that I remember The House with a Clock in Its Walls (Lewis Barnavelt, #1) by John Bellairs , but since it's been out for so many years, I'm sure it's had several. I just read the first part on Amazon's Look Inside, but I can't tell for sure. Then again, how many scary children's books are there about clocks? This is probably the one! I'm going to buy it and read it. Looks like an interesting read, either way.

Yay, thanks so much! It's been bugging me for years--nay, decades!

Missyb | 8 comments Faith is physic, her friends and her are married to wolfs who are brothers. They fight demons. Reni might be another character. Faith grew up with the brothers.

There's elemental witches in it, and her half brother is a demon and is either named Bennie or Benji. She's best friends with Jamie and is mated to his brother.

Any help with what this book might be or who it might be written by, would be great, Thanks.

Don't know what it is, but it sounds like it would be a good read, funny. I would be interested in the name as well.
