The blurp reads: Great friends. A perfect girlfriend. Life is good for 17 year old Sebastian. Until tragedy shatters his blissful existence, awakening a dark power inside him. Visions of a ghostly and broken world lead to a mysterious female who tells him that he's the reincarnation of Death. With the title comes great power. Will he use it for good? Or, will he drown in the darkness of his own selfish purposes?
Currently, I have two parts. the first is about 30k words and the second is about 34.
If you're interested, please let me know.

Thanks for offering to beta read. If you get bored you can check out my completed manuscript at http://catalystfree.blogspot.com/
Disclaimer: It contains explicit language and scenes of violence. If you are interested in what you see on the link I can email a mobi file or pdf or what have you.
Best of luck on your degree(s).
Peace,
Adam Wolf

I have written a contemporary YA novel ( about 40k words)
Here's the blurb:
"Seventeen-year old Ruby Fields has always lived by the rules set up by her foolishly overprotective mother. As a result, she doesn't go to school, she's never been kissed, and almost everything she knows about life is what she has learned from old movies.
But now...now there's this Joshua guy. He's quirky, and he's tall, and he uses “romantic” and “old-fashioned” in the same sentence.
And there's Mrs. Wheeler, an eccentric retired Hollywood costume designer and Ruby's new best friend.
When Mrs. Wheeler ends up in hospital, just after telling Ruby her long-kept secret, Ruby decides to break her mother's rules and embark on a journey that will change her life forever."
Would you be interested?
Thanks,
Milena

Hi Alyssa, I’m a bit of a late starter having only just noticed your post.
I'm currently writing “The Roads of Luhonono” series. It's Five books, Five Legends and One Story. The first book "The Legend of The East Road" has been completed and is awaiting the publishers pleasure. The second book, "The Legend of the West Road" is a work in progress.
Essentially it is targeted at the YA market, with the first book rated MG, and each book thereafter, written to an older (by one year)reading audience.
Could you please visit the Luhonono webpage at:
www.theroadsofluhonono.com
If you like what you see please respond.

Hi Doceener, I haven't seen your comment until now. Sorry about that. Are you still interested?

I love Science-Fiction. How long is this story?

Don't know if you already found enough material there to keep you going for a while, but if not I have a completed 130k word urban fantasy, paranormal, crime novel that I need to have critiqued for flow, pace, confusion etc.
The book follows the fortunes of the quiet and unassuming Dennis Small who is sucked into the evil world of international organized crime through the indiscretions of his son. A pacifist by belief he is quickly forced to extremes of behavior that challenge his most deeply held principles and evoke his most dreadful fears.
The book is called 'Bodies' and is Vol 1 of the Tattoo series. Dennis has to fight crime bosses and criminals who hold an atavistic belief in the magical power of tattoos. They use skin art of various kinds to enhance natural abilities, ensure success in war, sex, control of other people, etc. Some also have access to technologically advanced electronic tattoos which give them super-soldier abilities. Dennis is the opposite; he has always hated tattoos and slightly despised those who wear them, but in order to save his family he will have to change his world view in order to fight the evil that has invaded his town and his life.
The book contains scenes of graphic sexuality, violence and a lot of foul language (as you would expect from hardened evil criminals and from ordinary people in extreme situations). If you like the sound of that then read on. If any of these things offend you or just aren't your cup of tea then this book really isn't for you. It's also written with British spelling and punctuation so if that bothers you then this book is a no-no for you also.
If you enjoy fast moving, tense, gritty action, sarcasm, black humor mixed in with realistic paranormal phenomena and fantasy technology (within the bounds of the believable) then this book definitely is for you. You will love reading it and hopefully critiquing it as well.
What I'm looking for first is your gut reaction to the book. Did you love it or hate it? Did it sicken you or fascinate you? Was it too bland or too fantastic? How many stars would you give it in an online review?
Secondly, I'd like you to let me know of any big (or small) gaffes, inaccuracies, blunders, confused or confusing plot lines etc. Anything at all that interrupts the flow of belief and suspense so that I can make this book as great as it can be before publishing.
If it sounds like something you could get your teeth into then let me know and I'll send you a copy. I'm looking to have this tome ready to go before the new year if I can (although not absolutely essential), so would also appreciate if you could let me know when you might be able to complete a read through by.
And a big thank you in advance for you time too :-) It would most certainly be, very much appreciated - Antonio.
PS You can learn more about my work at: www.antonioaraniobooks.com

I have a y/a/romance/fantasy novel. Are you interested in this genre?
I have included a Goodreads Link. Let me know if you would like kindle or a paperback copy.
Thanks for gifting your time~

This sounds kind of interesting. The important thing for me is that it's not too long. You said "the first part" is 30k words? That's not too long.

Snake Eyes Lie is 110k words. How quickly do you read? ;)

@James, I'm really sorry but....that's just too long for me right now. I feel like a chump saying that but if it were under 40k I could have more time. Or maybe I could read the first couple of chapters or something. Please don't hate me :(
