I think it is. But then again, I didn't really like Greta to begin with and have found Anna refreshing. I've read all three now.
I wasn't crazy about Greta either in the first book, but I was hopeful her book would be different. I'm only a little over 30 pages into Perfectly Matched, but so far I'm liking it a lot!
The list Edward gave Anna was just too funny...I can't believe some of the things on that list! It had me laughing so hard! Poor Anna's expecting a present and gets a list of chores and how-tos :D

I've got about 50 pages left, but I wanted to give a few more of my thoughts. Feel free to share any you have and you don't have to worry about spoiling anything since I won't check this thread again until I finish, which I plan on doing right after I post this :)
I love Anna's heart for stray animals. The way she jumped right in and stopped Waldo from abusing Moose and then later how she stopped that carriage driver from being so cruel to Belle were both great and showed her caring nature. It was so sad when Belle died, but I wasn't that surprised about it - with the way her condition was described. However, I am getting really annoyed with Anna calling them "dumb animals". I know what she means by it, that they are helpless and we should care for them, but to me it just comes across as mean.
I loved it when Anna stumbled upon Edward's list. I was so curious what his would contain and then when it wasn't revealed at the same time her's was I thought I would never get to find out what was on it. So glad that I did, it was just so romantic and sweet - completely opposite of what I thought was going to be on it :)

I also loved Anna's heart for the animals. I loved when Moose protected her from the tramp. I guess Baby was too young to realize the threat at first. I loved how Waldo joins her society all because she stood up to him.Edward's list. Yes that was so sweet. I loved seeing him lighten up. He really needed to.

Anna Olsen knows it's time to leave her sister's increasingly crowded house and start a life of her own. Following her sisters' examples, she becomes a mail-order bride, and after a short correspondence with clock maker and jeweler Edward Parker, she moves to Denver to become his wife. Almost immediately it's painfully apparent that Anna and Edward are very different. Anna is a free spirit who would rather be painting and enjoying the company of friends than cleaning house. Edward is a consummate perfectionist who, on their wedding day, hands Anna a list of chores that need to be done around the house daily.
Can this mismatched couple see past their differences to a harmonious future? Or will their disparate passions create obstacles neither is willing to surmount?
Maggie Brendan closes her Blue Willow Brides series with a heartwarming tale of true love despite misunderstanding, showing readers that God's timing is always perfect.
