Henry Martin has a zillion books in the database (Winter Dragon, Paper Eagle, etc) but he doesn't come up if I search for him by name.

Am I doing something wrong or what?

Try using quotes around his name: https://www.goodreads.com/search?utf8...

That tells search you want the exact name. Which is necessary when the author's first and last names are both so incredibly common.

In any case, this is not really a librarian issue, but one for the Feedback Group. Librarians can help with issues pertaining to specific book records or most related issues, but have no control over general site functionality or related issues -- like the search.
