Haha, Michael I'll keep that in mind ;D
In England there is a puffy crisp (Potato chip) called Quavers. Dipping them in white wine, well, its a little taste of heavan right there.

@Michael Then I guess you'd like Quebec's favorite fast meal. It's called Poutine. You take French fries, cover it with cheddar cheese curds, and then poor hot chicken sauce (brown gravy) on top.
@Bisky Potato chips dipped in wine?!? Never thought of that.

They are a really cheesy flavour, not a dorito type cheese, I don't really know any other flavour like them, been trying to find a subsitute here :p
Kinda, but alot more delicate in flavour and texture. (the cheese doodles they have here are my temporary subsitute when I can't be arsed to pay double the price in the expat store lol)
At least you can have it when you feel like it. Most of the stuff I like, they don't sell it at all in the US. I can only get it when I go visit my family, which is not often at all. :(
I'm in the UK .. I have just migrated south from the north, and it's so much warmer!French fries ... gotta be with Strawberry milkshake! :3
I'm from America, but I live in Singapore - any other Singaporeans? We don't really have many weird foods, unless you count chicken rice, which is pretty much our sustenance along with chili crab ;)
My mom is from Indiana. In that state, they always sprinkle brown sugar on the rice. I thought everyone ate it that way. When I first went away to college and got rice with my dinner in the dining hall, I said, "Where's the brown sugar" and everyone looked at me like I was nuts.Love to try that cheese curd and brown gravy thingie.
Here in California I've heard rumors of poutine, but have never seen it. I guess our closest approximation would be In-n-Out fries, animal style.
@ Eric So what do you think? Would you try it? :P IT'S GOOD!!!! (Your liver and cholesterol might not agree but still.)

How cool! Well we all know I'm your biggest fan. No, seriously, I need to lose some weight, bad. ;)
@J, I'll use my influence over you to persuade you to go raw vegan ;]
*dodges bullets* :p
@neil, I have such a Harry Potter view of Oxford :x I have no idea if it's really like that :p

Switzerland :D
I'm from western Switzerland, that is the French-speaking part.
Just think chocolate (yep, us too), Federer and mountains ^^

@Bisky Hogwarts looks-wise is more like a Scottish castle. Lots of Oxford interiors for indoors scenes, but if you didn't know them you wouldn't tell. Although I have seen Grint and Watson once each - not bad considering they were around here so often for so many years.
Hi! I'm originally from Ohio. Did the east coast tour after college, and landed in California. There are days when I'm still surprised that I live in Los Angeles (in a good way).
I was born in Nigeria, floated between the UK and Saudi Arabia until my teens. Since then, have been home in Karachi, Pakistan.

Barring any travel warnings, terrorist attacks or coups, Karachi is a great place to get a tan. You're all welcome. :) I'll bring the sunscreen.
@Natasha hehe I liked the way you put it... Hey, getting a suntan is dangerous however or wherever you get it... Die from cancer or terrorist attack... what's the difference? :>
G.G. wrote: "Die from cancer or terrorist attack... what's the difference? :>"Exactly! That's what I say. Summer all year round. Way more dangerous than a few bombs.

Ay, it's a great place to be! For a population of 4 million we don't do too badly for producing superstars. Love Dolores. :)

I'm from Hampshire in the UK, but I'll have been living and working in various bits of London for 10 years as of next month.
