I'm 10 chapters in

I was so scared (view spoiler)[ when she stumbled upon Eli and Lucy and Neva. I'm so glad it looks like the bad guys left AND she has some meat from the deer (hide spoiler)]

this book is doing a great job (view spoiler)[ of really showing the horror of surviving. When she lost her mom it was awful!!! (hide spoiler)]

I'm loving this book so far!
