I prefer girl but I can play the guy as well
Me too but i don't mind. Here is the idea if you don't like it i can think of another. The guy is blind and the girl can be mute or normal. And they help each other learn that their differences are what make them special and blah blah and eventually they fall for each other.

Well in this scenario i actually don't mind. I would like to do either part so you can pick.
Oh and if you want we can put a supernatural twist in it like they can communicate through their minds so they can talk to each other. Because if she is mute she would use sign language and he couldn't see that.

History:
Jay only became blind at the age of 16 when he hit his head badly and stopped his brain from receiving signals from his eyes. This accident also helped him find his power of reading minds and he often uses others thoughts to get to places and do things.
((Sure!))Jay sat in a coffee shop, sipping a hot coffee. He stared out into the street, listening to all the noises of the people and cars. He could hear the racing thoughts of the people as the walked past the shop on their way to work and wondered why life had to past so quickly.
Autumn walked into the coffee shop with her sister, Sarah. Sarah ordered for both of them since Autumn couldn't talk and was doubtful the waitress could read sign language
Jay heard the door bell ding and some people walked pass. He taped into the thoughts of one of them... A young woman. She seemed a little sad as her sister ordered the coffee for them, he wondered why.
