"Oh, I don't know. I think you have some pretty persuasive people up here who would fight to keep you." Jasmine gave her shoulder a squeeze. "Just me and Eric alone have enough stubborn to possible scare the sun into not rising." She joked.

Ariel giggled. "Yeah I suppose you both do." She sighed. "I hope he lets me stay. I don't want to leave you guys."
"Oh, we do. That's why we almost tore each other up that day. But we have you in common and we'll both fight for that." Jasmine assured her. "So, how did you like Titanic?" She asked to lighten the mood.
Ariel smiled. "I'm glad for that." She said. "It was good. I really enjoyed it. It was a really sad ending though."
"I haven't seen it but I do know the story of the Titanic. A terrible moment in history." She shivered at the thought.
"Yes it was." Ariel said in agreement. "Have you gotten anymore art projects that you need help with?"
"Actually I did one on my own. But it was like a collage so it didn't require much talent. I'm not sure what the next project will be." Jasmine told her. "Oh, guess what?"
"Thanks, you're the best." Jasmine beamed. "Oh, and I'm going to be a tutor." She announced proudly. She knew it was really just so that she and Aladdin could spend more time together but it still felt good to think she might help.
Jasmine blushed a bit. "Aladdin. I know it's pretty see through but he actually does struggle with some stuff and I've been an honors student for so long I tend to get bored with my own schoolwork." Jasmine shrugged.
Ariel laughed. "It's good that you're helping him though. If he needs help then who better to help him than you? Just don't get distracted." She teased.
"Distracted? What could possibly distract me?" Jasmine said with a playful smile. "Really, now that I'm tutoring him I really will have no reason to ever go back to my own dorm." Jasmine said and then immediately realized how bad that might sound.
Ariel raised an eyebrow. "You haven't been staying in your room? Why?" She asked even though of she were Jasmine she would stay with Aladdin too.
"Well, it didn't start out that way. We had been hanging out in my dorm but then my roommate came back and in an attempt to avoid her we went to his dorm. He doesn't have a roommate and well, I fell asleep and I didn't have nightmares. I haven't slept in my own room since." Jasmine sighed. Really she had moved in. "And now Aladdin is having trouble sleeping and he doesn't know it but I've started staying awake to help calm him so he can sleep." She shrugged.
Ariel nodded in understanding. "I wonder why he's not sleeping well. Have you asked him about it? I mean the second your nightmares go away, he has trouble sleeping. Isn't that odd?"
"Well, he wasn't saying anything about not sleeping well. I stayed up last night and found him tossing and turning and moaning. So I soothed him. We had a lot happen last night and I didn't want to upset him anymore." Jasmine sighed. "I'll ask him about the next time I see him."
Ariel squeezed her hand in sympathy. "I hope everything is okay." She said worried on Jasmine's behalf.
"I do to." Jasmine frowned. "Already he's become such a rock for me to rely on. I'd hate to think something's wrong with him." But if something was Jasmine would be there for him.
"He'll be okay. As long as you're there for him then he should be okay." Ariel said with conviction.
"I worry that he's going to give up too much for me." Jasmine admitted what she couldn't to Aladdin. "He talks about coming home with me and us having a life together after we graduate but is that really what he wants? His home has always been Agrabah and I don't know if he could truly be happy somewhere else."
Ariel turned to her friend. "If he loves you then he wouldn't be giving up anything. He wants to have a life with you. If he asked you to go to Agrabah would you? Would you give up your life for him?"
"I'm not sure. That's what scares me. In Agrabah the life of a princess awaits me and I don't want that." Jasmine sighed, sadly. "I don't know it I would be able to give up my family and my best friend and everything I love even for the one person I love the most." Jasmine felt so guilty for saying it.
"Then that's your choice. Let him make his. If he wants to go with you then you shouldn't question his motives. Just know that he loves you and wants to have a life with you." Ariel said. She wanted her friend happy and if that meant Aladdin going with her to her home after graduation then she would make sure it happened.
"You're right, as usual." Jasmine said with a small smile. "I'm so glad we met. You're such a good friend Ariel." She told her meaning every word. "And do you know what I was thinking?"
"Well the thing is I hate your boyfriend. But you are one of my best friends and I want to be supportive. Another thing is that your boyfriend and my boyfriend happen to be friends of some sort and that's another thing I can't help. So I was thinking that one of these days we need to all go on a double date so that maybe, just maybe we can possibly hate each other a little less." Jasmine said all at once to get it over with.
Ariel raised her eyebrow. Jasmine sounded like it had been painful to say that. "That sounds like an amazing idea. Are you sure it's what you want to do though?" She asked.
"Obviously Eric and I are going to end up being in each others lives the least we can do is learn to be civil." Jasmine said diplomatically. "So, yes, I'm sure."
Ariel smiled brightly. "I would love to go on a double date with you and Aladdin." She squeezed Jasmine's hand. "This will be fun!"
"Yeah, I think it will be fun." Jasmine squeezed Ariel's hand back. "And now we're going to have to plan it and figure out what we should wear." Jasmine smiled broadly at her friend.
Ariel grinned. "Shopping?" She asked. She had heard of it but had never actually shopped like a normal teenager. All of her stuff has been bought for her already.
Jasmine beamed back. "Yes, shopping would be perfect." She said. "I wonder if there are any good shops in the village? I didn't see one but that doesn't mean much." She thought back to see if there had been anything there.
Ariel thought about her one trip to the village. "There might be one even if I don't remember seeing it." She said smiling.
"Well then I believe we should be off." Jasmine announced. "We don't need to tell the boys about this until the last minute. We'll make it a surprise." She said. Oh yes, Aladdin would definitely be surprised.
Ariel grinned and hopped off the bed, grabbing her brown leather boots and sliding them on. She grabbed her jacket off the hook and then turned to Jasmine. "This'll be fun." She said excitedly.
"I think you're right about that." Jasmine agreed, standing and grabbing her bag. ((Are there any shops in the village?))
