Janet, I can't watch this season of Hannibal, yet because of schedule. So, my daughter and I plan to buy season 3 when it comes out on DVD (we're collecting all seasons) But without giving too much away, why don't you like it? Did they change the formula?

I read through all the posts and I have to say I have not seen any of the shows mentioned except The Big Bang Theory.
So many. The Fall. Orphan Black. Broadchurch. Blacklist. Flash. Arrow. GOT. Walking Dead. I could go on. Seriously watch too much television.
I bought the Americans, and we started the Series 1, and it is very good. It reminds me of Nikita.

Not sure if it would be considered a "series," but The Shining has always been one of my favorite Stephen King books. I just started the sequel to it, where Danny is once again facing off against his own demons, as well as some remnants from the Overlook hotel. Creepy.
TV shows - I go old school. X files usually a 4:00 in the morning. I also love all the true crime stuff.

I could be wrong according to Carolina in message 185. Everybody seems to like this show. I might give it a try.Also, I tried to give it a chance, but I just could not get into the new PBS series, POLDARK (two thumbs down) But I really like the new Crimson Field series about the nurses (thumbs up)

My favorite series hasn't seen a lot of mention lately. My favorite series is Grimm. As a matter of fact I can't believe how caught up in I've gotten (re-watching the previous series to see what I've missed, looking for "clues" the writers may have dropped). I don't think I've enjoyed a series this much since I was a teen and we got the first TV in our cave-complex. The dinosaurs were always knocking out the cable.Anyway, if you haven't tried it Gina you might.

I honestly don't know how this new series, WHISPERS, is still on tv. It's just about very young kids who aren't properly supervised being influenced by some evil entity and teaching them all how to lie constantly. Seriously!Some plots aren't meant to be televised as a series.

I like the outdoor shows like The Bush People and another show of a small native village in Alaska. Stuff like that. Just caught an episode of NCIS last night. I really don't watch a lot of television. I'll be reading and have the television on HGTV but muted most of the time.
I've never been one for the so called "reality TV". BUT (there's always a "but" isn't there?) I kind of like Bar Rescue and Catch a Contractor. I always wonder how real these are because the contractor show reveals some dangerous "stuff".

Covert Affairs (my favorite, but I don't think it's coming back)
Royal Pains (I love this show, it's like a fluffy dessert, sweet and airy, perfect for summer)

And, my husband and I watch Jeopardy every night while eating. It's our routine, and we get very competitive.
I binge watched the first season of True Detective on HBO recently. It was good, but I felt it didn't live up to the hype. I did love both Matthew McConoughy and Woody Harrelson. Their performances kept me watching. So far not impressed with Season Two, after only one episode. I'll give it a few more.
My guilty pleasure, the one series that I watch whenever it is on, is Law and Order SVU.
The only reality TV I watch are cooking shows: Chopped, The Next Food Network Star, Iron Chef, Top Chef.
My favorite movie series are The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies, which is nice since they are also my favorite books!
Hey everyone, not sure but I heard The Americans got picked up and renewed by Netflix...not sure if that's true but there's hope!
Just finished seeing Season 1 & 2 and waiting for Season 3 to be sent. Really enjoying The Americans.
I like Lisa Gardner's Quincy and Rainie series. She switches it up and uses Quincy's daughter as the main character in some of the series. Keeps it fresh and interesting.
Haha, I thought you meant book series. Well in that case... I love Dexter (even though it's over), Bloodline is pretty good. House of Cards is by far my favorite right now! Can't wait for the new season!
I really like "The Walking Dead," "Friends," "Law & Order: SVU," "Pretty Little Liars," "Game of Thrones," "True Blood," and "Mike & Molly."

Yeah, me too. Unfortunately, the sixth season hasn't yet come on TV in India.
