I enjoy watching Law & Order: SVU, Chicago PD, CSI, and Parenthood. It's unfortunate that Hostages will not be returning for a second season. I can't wait until May 5th: the return of Jack Bauer- 24! :)

Irene (zavrou) | 44 comments Did you know that in the TV Series 'Castle' the following authors are his poker playing buddies...........
Stephen J Cannell
James Patterson
Michael Connolly
Dennis Lehane

Personally I do not like 'Castle'

Mike (the Paladin) (thepaladin) | 652 comments Never got into it. I am a huge Grimm fan. I also like Person of Interest a lot. This year I've gotten into Blacklist also. I tried Hannibal but just can't get involved. TV is over pretty weak I think but there are a few bright spots.

Mike (the Paladin) (thepaladin) | 652 comments We sort of posted at the same time Irene. I "sort of" liked castle when it started as I like Nathan Fillion. He's got great comic timing on his lines and can also do drama. But I burned out on the show. I to liked the poker game part but the relationship thing between castle and the detective just got old.

I have never watched Castle, nor have I read any of Richard Castle 's books.

Mike (the Paladin) (thepaladin) | 652 comments Yeah, I tried the first book with the Castle name on it. That was the last I tried. Too bad.

Strike Back

and looking forward to

X111

looks good

and

Chicago PD (not here yet)

Mike (the Paladin) (thepaladin) | 652 comments I'm getting interested in S.H.I.E.L.D. now. At first it was only mildly interesting but I think it's gotten better. (This is especially true since the events in Captain America Winter Soldier.)

I keep hoping NBC will put something on after Grimm I like. Grimm is my favorite program on right now but I found their version on Dracula silly and didn't like it at all. I can't really get interested in Hannibal. I tried. I get what they're going for but it just feels to me like dragging the story out.

Anyway, love Grimm wish they'd follow it with something better.

'Supernatural'... i like this series too. I like the dry humour. Much like that in the first series of 'True Blood', which could at times be very droll. Subsequent series seem to suffer from taking-itself-too-seriously.

Yes to watching 24. This is our first time watching the show week to week rather than binging.

Sue, my husband and I were so mad that Intelligence got cancelled. That was probably our favorite new show last season. It was so full of action we couldn't understand people not watching and liking it.

I know what you mean Kathryn. I think a lot of it has to do with the time or slot when it is scheduled to be shown. For us, it was on a Friday night from 10:00P.M.-11:00P.M. Not always a convenient time to watch. But my husband and I loved watching it.

The first episode was on right after both NCIS and NCIS LA (both good shows) and it did great, then they moved the rest to Mondays at 10p and it was all downhill from there. I wished that instead of canceling a good show, they would try to move it to another time slot and see if it does better. Oh well, seems to happen every year with a handful of good shows.

James (birchoverjames) | 8 comments I have watched the first three episodes of Intelligence and I am finding it difficult to get in to. The main characters just do not work for me. Sorry Kathryn, will not lose any tears over its cancellation.
What does hurt in the decision not to pick up series 8 of Supernatural by uk TV.

It's okay, James. I guess lots of others couldn't get into it, either. I'm getting over it now with my summer shows coming back.

Wow

Cannot believe it Sue.

It ran for nine years 2001 to 2010 and one of the most watched programmes, sold all over the world.

This series is a one off returned series of 12 episodes, it takes place in London.

24 changed how ALL series looked, with the spit screens, action packed, gripping and tense, major characters being killed off, just brilliant.

Try to watch the previous nine series first, then the new one, it will make more sense then.

I love that show, also. I quite often picture Castle and Beckett as characters in the books I read because they are so likable.
