He laughed. "When was this?" He asked before he answered her question. "I would love to live in Greece. It has so much history and architecture."

"Ah, ah, ah." She scolded. "I was going to choose truth. Is that your truth question?" she asked, in a conspiratorial tone of voice.
He scowled. "Fine. Yes that's my truth question." The prying questions were starting to fade back into safer territory.
Marian took a deep breath before trying to summarize the story. "Well we were trying to get our hands on a huge cash of jewels but they were meant to be a gift to a visiting princess. This was all happening a ways from our home and we knew no one would recognize us. So Robin, Will and the Men kidnapped the Princess and swapped me for her. I played to part for a few day, got the jewels and got out. The princess never revealed our deception either, due to, um, special circumstances." Marian felt a blush rise on her cheeks at the memory of when Will and Robin told her that story.
His eyebrows rose but he didn't comment. He had a feeling he knew what those circumstances were though.
"Say something. What are you thinking right now?" She asked him. She knew her blush might have been a giveaway but she wasn't even sure why she had blushed. She hadn't been involved in that part.
He opened his mouth to say that she must have been pretty out of her element but what came out was something different. "We're you jealous?" He asked before clamping his mouth shut.
Marian glanced away for a second and then back. "Not in the way you would think. Will and Robin were both players. It was part of them. To be jealous of every girl would have driven me to insanity faster than humanly possible." She paused. "The only times I got jealous was when the girl stuck around. As long as the girls left as fast as they came, I did alright." Marian's jaw ground. "Yeah, I only got jealous when the girls stuck around."
Charming nodded. It made sense but he had a feeling that a part of her was jealous of the other girls too.
"Truth or Dare, Charming?" She asked. She didn't think he believed her but it was all true. She wasn't jealous of the girl that flitted in and out of Robin's life; she was jealous of the ones that stuck around. The ones like Rosalie.
"Truth." He said. He wasn't going to say dare. He wanted to get to the point where he could ask deeper questions.
"Alright then." Marian thought for a moment. "Why did you fight what your father wanted for you so much? I mean being raised as a prince you should of been okay with not marrying for love right?" She asked him.
His eyes darkened before he blinked it away. "I guess it's the same reason you daughter your mom. I didn't like the idea of marrying someone who wouldn't love me back. Or at least not love the real me."
Marian nodded. It was a lot like her and her mom but she had had Will to fuel her. "And who is the real you Charming?" She asked. The way he said it was like it was something he kept hidden. Was the real Charming different from the one she knew?
"That's more than one question." He said but answered anyways. "The real me is the one who spent his days alone with his imaginary friends. The real me is the one who fell in love with an amazing girl. You know the real me Marian. You know me better than anyone."
Marian closed her eyes and took a deep breath. That was exactly what she had been afraid he would say. She felt sick, she was terrible and she didn't deserve him. She was exactly what she had told Robin, she was a destructive force. "Truth." She mumbled. "I choose truth."
He sighed looking down. He couldn't hold the question back anymore. "What happened last night?" He asked quietly.
"I couldn't sleep and I ended up at your door." Marian said, not opening her eyes. It was truth. A condensed, watered down version of the heartbreaking truth of the night before. It didn't seem fair that she had to face Charming's all knowing gaze when Robin probably hadn't told Rosalie a single thing, or at least not the whole truth. ((Alex should be reading that one))
Charming sighed impatiently. "Come on Marian. Do I look stupid?" He asked. "I know you aren't telling the whole truth. It has to do with Robin doesn't it?" He clenched his jaw.((I know;))
"No you don't look stupid." Marian snapped, then sighed. "Yes. I ran into him last night after you dropped me off. I was restless and walking around."((We need to make her read this))
((Post in robins dorm))Charming sighed. "And what happened?" He asked. He braced himself knowing it couldn't be good since it had had her coming to his dorm so late at night.
(( I did))"We talked, about a lot of stuff. I could barely think straight when the whole thing was over." Marian steadied her breathing.
Charming closed his eyes. "You're not going to tell me." He said. He didn't pose it like a question but a fact.
"Oh, no, I'm not Robin. I'll tell you whatever you want to know. Just ask me." She steeled her voice on this last part. Robin might not be honest with Rosalie but she would be honest with Charming.
"Because every second I spent with him it was harder to believe I could let him go." she told him. "He knew everything about me, more than even I realized." she told him. "Because we were both lied to."
"Lied to? By who?" Charming asked. This was what he had been afraid of. He was afraid that Marian would never move on and she would just settle for him. That wasn't what he wanted.
"By Will. he knew about our feelings for each other the whole time and he never told us." Marian gound out. "the whole time I was falling for Robin he felt the same about me. But now he has Rosalie."
Charming noticed that she didn't say that she had him. He looked down. "What would happen if he somehow wasn't with her anymore?" He asked.
"I don't know. I thought I knew but that was because I thought I knew Robin but now I just don't know. I never thought he would make the choices he has." She paused. "Do you know why I ende up at your door?" She asked.
His shoulders slumped. He hated this uncertainty. He shook his head when she asked him if he knew why she showed up there. He had been wondering but hadn't asked yet.
"Because, after everything I had gone through with Robin: We whispered, talked, screamed and even cried. After all that I just wanted to feel safe and i knew you could give me that. Safety, stability, so that I could rest and not have any nightmares." She sighed. "I can't believe he actualy said that to me. I don't even think he meant it." She thought out loud.
Now charming was confused. "Said what to you?" He asked. He didn't know what to think about her thinking he was safe but still wanting Robin. This whole thing was making his head spin.
"He told me that if for some reason things didn't work out with him and Rosalie and me and you that we could go home and get married and raise a family. He made me promise that I would if that ever happened. I don't even know if he meant it." Marian hiccupped a sob. "Charming I'm so confused. My brother has lied to me, Robin won't let me get my thoughts straight, I'm almost sure that I'm jealous of Rosalie and on top of it all you're the only thing that makes me steady but I know I should leave you before I hurt you anymore." She sobbed. "I wish Robin were here right now to see what he's helped to destroy."
Charming felt tears burn the back of his eyes but he clenched his jaw. "And you promised him? If things didn't work out with him and Rosalie would you just go straight to him? I love you Marian and I'm not going to lose you. Do you want me to fight for you? Is that it? Whatever it is I'll fix it."
"Yeah, I promised him. I told him I would always be there even as just a friend and he still threw the whole thing back in my face." She thought of Robin crying in her arms and still not choosing her. "I don't even know what you would be fighting for. It feels like everything I have ever known has been a lie. If I can salvage anything at this point i would want it to be your happiness." She told him. "You don't deserve all of this."
He clenched his fists around the blanket. "You may not think so but enduring all of this would be worth it if I came out with you by my side. You're worth everything and anyone who tells you different is an idiot." He said.
"What if you don't even really know what I'm worth?" Marian asked him. "I'm a liar, a thief, I've killed people, I've impersonated, I've been involved in plans that most people can't even imagine. What makes me worth so much?" She growled. "Even Robin said he was not good foe me but what makes him so much worse compared to what I've done?"
((Marian is a terrible person. She should go live in the woods somwhere so that she can't hurt any more innicent people))
Charming met her eyes, determination burning bright within his eyes. "We've all made mistakes. We've all done bad things. The only thing we can do is learn from them. You're worth it to me Marian. I fell in love with all of you. Faults and all."
"No!" Marian screamed. "You have no idea what I am! I am a destructive force and I really should just go back to Nottingham because the longer I'm here the more people get hurt!" She hurled the door to the room open and ran out into the hall.
Charming sat stunned for a second before his body caught up with his mind and he chased after her. "Marian! Marian stop!" He shouted after her.
Marian barely paused for a second but not to let him catch her. This wasn't a game where she wanted him to catch up. "I won't let you ruin your life Charming. You're too good for that. I'm leaving for good and the only thing I might stop to do is to make sure Robin goes down with me." she called befor running on.
He felt his heart breaking. She didn't know how amazing she really was. He was the one that didn't deserve her. He chased after her running faster than he ever had his entire life.
She knew he was still chasing her. She wished he would just stop, just come to his sensed and realize what a huge mistake she was. There was one person who knew every sin she had ever committed. They could tell Charming what a waste of love she was.
Why would she just stop so he could talk to her? This wasn't what he had expected to happen when he asked his questions. He continued after her.
((I am seriously considering breaking into Robin and Will's dorm just to bring this whole thing to a climax.))Marian stopped to catch her breath. why, why did it have to be her? She asked herself. Why was she dealt the messed up hand?
