Based upon the "reading plans" thread, it seems like there are a number of people who are interested in a shared read of the Rose Campbell pair of books, Eight Cousins and Rose in Bloom.

Can I get a show of hands (or, a show of posts) from anyone who is up for a shared read of one or both of them?

Thanks!

I would assume I should at least have read Little Women first?

Bookworm R, these two are separate from the Little Women, Little Men and Jo's Boys books.

What Cindy said ^ up there! These are two of her lesser known books.

Plethora (bookworm_r) | 18 comments I saw they belonged to different series.

I just wasn't sure if they had character overlap that would make it helpful to read some of the others before hand.

Not that I recall, but I've only read Eight Cousins, and that only once.

No, no character overlap at all. There are some thematic similarities, but that is about it.

Jaylia3 I plan to read both Eight Cousins and Rose in Bloom

Cleo (cleopatra18) I will try to read both. Those who know me, know that I have more books on the go than sense, so I don't want to promise something I can't deliver.

I ditto Cleo....it looks like Moonlight set this for November and December so we can spread it out a bit ???

Annika | 4 comments You've made me very curious to try Eight Cousins, talking it up to the high heavens (I've only read Little Women before) - but like Cleo, I'm a bit worried about overcommitting. I may have to see how my other reads are going.

I guess what I'm contributing at this stage is a tentative mumble. Sorry about that!
