Yoni (yonifreedhoff) | 13 comments Hi folks,

I'm the author of said book, but switched publishers midstream (long story) and the book now is The Diet Fix. The edition attached here is never going to be published so hoping you can remove it.

Best,
Yoni

Banjomike | 5166 comments The book record says it was published back in May. Is that wrong?

Also, if the Crown Publishing Group is connected with this book you might want to tell them to stop deleting editions of the book. It doesn't help anyone.

Yoni (yonifreedhoff) | 13 comments Pretty sure I'd know if it had been published. Crown's not connected with the book as it was a Simon & Schuster book until my contract and book were purchased by Crown.

Crown have deleted a hardback edition of the "Why Diets Fail" book. Nice of them.

Yoni (yonifreedhoff) | 13 comments I'm not entirely sure what that means, but I am speaking with Crown later today. If you can explain what I need to ask of them, I can certainly do so.

It means your new publisher is removing evidence that you had a previous publisher.

Yoni (yonifreedhoff) | 13 comments But the book wasn't ever actually published by Simon & Schuster....hence me (and I suppose Crown), wanting to remove the book that no one is ever going to read.

Yoni (yonifreedhoff) | 13 comments Perhaps I'm missing something of the nuance here - first time author and all. I wrote originally to point out that the book Why Diets Fail and How to Make Yours Work, a book I wrote, isn't ever going to be published and would love for it to be removed from your listings just to make my author's dashboard cleaner and more accurate.

Don't worry about it. There is no sign that your old title was ever published so it will be removed. The issue is why did your new publisher delete something that was nothing to do with them. That is something for support to look at. When support have finished your old title can be removed. It is just a question of leaving it while support do their thing.

Yoni (yonifreedhoff) | 13 comments Thanks very much. And not sure the answer to your question.

Best,
