Jake took April inside and closed the door behind her. He hung up his clothes in his newly neat closet and put some stuff in his drawers.
She put her stuff by the door then sat on his bed.
He sat down next to her and pulled her onto his lap. He kissed her forehead and hugged her.
She yurnd around on his lap so that she was faceing him. She wrapped her legs around him and her arms around his neck. "Hey." She smiled.
"Hi." He chuckled. He pulled her closer to himself by her waist.
"i dont think imma be able to get any closer." she said.
"I guess not." He said. His phone started to ring. He groaned and picked it up. "Hello...this is him...what if I don't want to...ugh...I refuse...don't call me again." He hung up. "I should have gotten a new phone while we were at the Mall."
"why whats wrong?" She asked.
"The police station keeps calling me trying to get me to talk to my dad. Not gonna happen." After all the things that ass has done to him and his mother. After all he out him through Jake will do nothing for him.
April nodded. "Im sorry." She said leaning closer.
"I don't care about him. He doesn't care about me. Why do they keep calling me? I don't know." He shrugged.
She nodded. "I know." She said.
He sighed and laid back on his bed.
She laid down on him. "You okay?" She asked touching his cheek.
He didn't say anything just shrugged.

"I'm not sleeping." He said with his eyes closed. It didn't matter to him. He had to finished his homework and study for his tests but he didn't care about that really.

He shrugged. He didn't really want her to go but if she wanted to there was nothing keeping her.
"Ass" she said under her breath. She didnt want to go but clearly her didnt want her there.

"I think she's mad at me." He mumbled.
April rolled her eyes. "Not mad." she said.

"Man it think shes about to cry." Josh told him. And she was she was holding everything in for so long she hadent cried since her brother died and that was almost 3 years ago, Its okay to cry darling. Just let it out they wont mined. She heard her brother say.
Jake stood up quickly and held her in his arms. "I'm sorry for whatever I did. I was being stupid and an idiot." He kissed the top of her head.
She knew he was just saying that but he really didnt do anything. She put her head in his chest. Go on just let it out. I bet you he will stay right there holding you. He brother said.
"It's okay. You can cry. Stop holding it in. I'm here for you." He said hugging her tightly.
