Jake woke up. He rubbed his eyes. He looked down, April's head was still on his chest. He didn't move so she could stay there.

April slept curled in a ball right next to him like a cat.
He chuckled and put his arms around her hoping she was warm enough.
She had a dream about her big brother. April was just learning to ride her bike for the first with her big brother Tyler right there to help her. "Okay Ty i got it," She started riding by her self but Tyler didnt let go vary far. "I got it." She said as she got farther a long Tyler let go complete but still staying by her. April got farther then lost her balance and fell and skined her knee and elbows. She laughed since she doesnt cry. Tyler shook his head and waalked over to her. "You know baby its okay to cry sometimes." He said cause he could tell she wanted to. "Naw im fine. Big girls dont cry." She said and stood up. "But your five baby." He said picking her up. "Yep a big girl. I want ice cream." She giggled. "Okay lets go get you cleand up then go get ice cream." He smiled.

She seemed to be having a really good dream. She was cute when she slept. He didn't move a muscle.
April stired a bit before fully waking up.
"Hey Sleepyhead." He smiled. He moved the hair out of her face.
She giggled. "Hey." She had a small smile on her face.
He propped himself up by his elbows and looked in the mirror. His hair was a mess. He combed it down with his hand.
April ran her hand through his hair. "I like it." She said.
"What, my hair?" He kept looking in the mirror. "But it's messy."
"Yeah and i like it." She amiled.
He shrugged then sat up all the way. "What do you wanna do now? No laser tag. You already beat me at that."
Sge laughed and moved on to his lap. "I dont know."
He wrapped his arms around her. "Hmmm. I bet I'm better at...no...maybe....no." He shook his head.
"Nope. Even with Joshes help i beat you." She laughed.
"I had it. Until superman came in." He smiled.
She laughed and kissed him. "Yeah sure you did."
"I did." He nodded. "I had a plan and everything. I would've won."
She laughed. "I know." She said.
He laughed and rubbed his neck. It was getting kinda hot but he kept the heat on so she could be warm even though they were both wearing sweatshirts.
She looked up at him. "You look hot." Shr said bout the heat.
"I always do." He said. "Oh you were talking about the temperature." He frowned. "Are you still cold?"
She laughed. "Yeah you are. And no im not cold no more." She said, not a lie.
"Kay." He leaned back quickly and turned off the heater. Jake thought about rolling up his sleeves but that wouldn't do anything... would it?
"Why are you thanking me?" He asked.
She shrugged. "I dont know." She said.
He chuckled. "Okay." He played with his hair again.
"Its fine Jake leave it alone." She said taking his hands.
He looked down at the hands then back at her. "Eh." He shrugged.
She smiled. "What do you wanna do?" She asked him.
"I don't know." He said. "Did you know that they just opened a pet store not far from here?" He asked. He loved puppies.
"Really? I want a puppy or a kitten. A kitten they are so cute." She said jumping up and down.
"I like puppies." He smiled widely. He jumped up and down with her. "Puppies are cute."
She smiled. "Yeah." She said.
"Do you want to go?" He asked. "You can keep the hoodie. I have tons more." He nodded.
He smiled and stood. He held out his hand for her to take.

Jake took her inside. He grabbed a Dri Fit shirt ( https://a248.e.akamai.net/f/248/9086/... ) and some shorts. He texted Brody to meet him at the fields. He walked out and grabbed his gloves. "Kay ready."
She laughed. "Okay super man." She said and pecked him on the cheek.
He chuckled and flexed. He stopped and laughed. "Whatever. Let's go to the fields. Do you know where Joshy is?" He asked jokingly.
"Joshy? Your roommate? Nah i can text him tho." She said.
"Yeah I'm gonna start calling him that to get on his nerves." He nodded.
