This thread is for "marking" a book genre (or lack thereof). The verifications in this thread apply only to the Fall 2013 challenge - they do not carry over to future challenges. A book need only be verified once in the thread - then it can be used by any participant in the Fall 2013 challenge.

Please do not post task-specific questions here ("is this cover green enough?") and other such questions.

If you are planning to use a book for a genre task and fear that the genre may disappear, or are concerned that it could get shelved by enough people as "childrens" to move that genre to the main page, post a link to the book in this thread. The moderators will verify. When you post your book, if the genres have changed, just link to the post in this thread in which it was verified and you'll be good to go.

Karen Michele Burns (klibrary) | 2062 comments This is a good idea and I have one to approve for self help, task 10.1: Early to Bed, Early to Rise, since it's the genre on the bottom:

Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman

Thanks!

You're good for the genre. I note that this appears to only exist in e-book form, so please keep in mind the rules on using these books.

You're good. I saw it there the day you asked but was at work and didn't have time to respond. It's gone now, but it was there that day, so you're okay.

Fandury | 957 comments I'm a little undecided which books to read before the challenge ends, but before I run into Genre trouble I would like to have some books verified:

Oryx and Crake for Speculative Fiction
Indefensible: One Lawyer's Journey Into the Inferno of American Justice for Autobiography/Memoir
The Anatomist's Wife for Historical Romance
