The show really diverges from the comics the farther one goes. I'll be interested to see what happens with season 4.
Loved The Walking Dead from season 1, learnt recently it was based of comics. Read this & it was slightly different to the TV show & just as good, will be getting & reading all the comics oh & season 4 TV show (addicted)
I love both the comics and the tv series. What makes it easy to separate the show from the books is that many times certain things will happen in the show that happen in the books, but at a different time. Robert Kirkman is one of the producers, so you can tell hes got his hands in both and is telling the same story, but in a different order :)
I'm really looking forward to the second half of season 4! It's going to be great.Just saying that the part of the comics (as far as I can tell) were great. I think that maybe the show will stick closer to the comics for a while. I can't get enough of this, I'm in TWD withdrawal at the moment.
celine and i use to collect all these books ,lay in bed and read some of the best times are with a good book and someone you love
Sylvie wrote: "Just watched the new episode. Holy Crap!!"That one was intense! Remarkably true (for once) to the comics! Just with sisters I guess. I was a little dissapointed Carl didn't get his moment though, if you've read the volume I'm talking about.
I don't read the comics (except for the very first one which I got as a birthday present), but I read the messages posted on one of the many, many TWD fan sites. So, yes I know what you're talking about. One person thought that maybe (view spoiler) Sounds farfetched, but you never know!
