Jace nodded and smiled a little at her. He gently put the kitten by his feet. He had been trying to come up with a name for him but didn't think of any that fit.Serena nodded," It's fine. It's not like they talk to me anyways." She said as they walked into the school together
((White with black spots))"Well I care about you." She said, "My goal is to get out of my house after graduation."
Jace shrugged, "I am too... So I guess he's just not going to get a name for a while." He told her as the kitten rubbed against his leg.Serena sighed, "I can't though... One day I'm sure she's going to come at me with a knife or something."
"He died fighting somewhere." He muttered softly leaning back against the opposite wall."You didn't see her this morning, Markus." She said following him into the building
He shrugged, "You would have asked sometime." He said softly looking over at her.Serena sighed. She knew he wanted to help her, but it was so hard to leave her mom
Jace looked over at her, "Hey it's fine at least you asked me and not my mom." Serena nodded, "Alright I'll see you later Markus." she said walking to History
"She probably would have started crying or something." He said softly.Serena sat bored in her history class, taking some notes
He nodded a little, "Thanks.... What happened to your mom?" He asked softly.Serena doodled in her notebook one arm wrapped around her stomach
Jace shook his head a little, "I'm sorry." He said softly, "I could never bring myself to ask your dad that." he said softlySerena jumped slightly as the bell rang signaling the end of the class
He nodded a little, "Yes I see that." he saidSerena walked out of her class and to her locker still holding her stomach

He laughed softly," I guess he kind of does.... We should name him Lucky." He said She looked over at him. As she shut her locker
Jace shrugged," I don't know isn't that was Dalmatians are usually called?" He asked Serena smirked," Yeah just barely."
He laughed softly," thank you." He said looking over at her. She wrapped her arms around him," Yeah and so did you." She said burying her face in his shoulder
He nodded," Alright see you later." He said walking to his roomShe giggled softly and looked up at him
Jace walked into his room and flipped on his tv. He turned his Xbox on and started playing Halo. Serena shrugged a little," I'm fine I guess. I think my mom just bruised my ribs." She said
She sighed and watched him walk away.. She followed after him a few seconds later. When they got to class Serena turned to him,"Markus would you please tell me what's wrong?" She asked him softly
Serena nodded a little," I know that but I just don't have many people that care and I'm glad you do." She said reaching up to kiss his cheek
