Laura, I sometimes laminate bookmarks, too.

Good idea about posting pictures on Christmas (or thereabouts). It'll make for a nice gathering for all of us. I'll bring some wine. :D

Gluhwein is different to mulled wine but similar. Sorry if I spelt that wrong, stupid phone ap! I much prefer the German version from the local Christmas market. We have a bratwurst or currywurst as well. Mulled wine season is great

No, not Gluhwein (I don't know how to make the umlaut). I'm not fond of hot, spiced wine. But almost any red wine with body will do. :D

I hope my friends will like the bookmarks I am going to give them with their Christmas cards this year. I think I am going to find a day of the dead one for one of my California friends since that is one of her favorite holidays and send it to her. I'll going to do one of horses for my best friend who lives a few cities away from me in TN since those are her favorite animal. My favorite animal is a dolphin anyway.
