I am in chapter 4 now, and so far every chapter ends on a cliffhanger!!I was disappointed when I discovered that prisoner 27 was NOT Liam, but I am falling in love with his brother.

Just finished it last night...AWESOME!!!! Can't wait for the next one. Love all the characters, even Clancy (every book has to have a villian!!! My son is almost done with it also. I started reading The Darkest Mind last Wednesday and finished all 3 by Sunday night!!!
I finished this book last week and I absolutely LOVED it!!! I wish we didn't have to wait so darn LONG for the next (last?) one :(

I finished Never Fade a few days ago! It was AMAZING! I wasn't hooked until 40 or 50 pages in because I was a little confused about the Prisoner 27 / Liam / Cole thing... but then I got it in chapter three so then it made sense. :D I LOVE all the characters... Ruby and Chubs and Vida and Jude and Nico and LIAM <3. They're all so amazing and lovable and complicated and flawed... and the flaws are what made them perfect and 100% real. Anyway The Darkest Minds is my new favorite series (like officially better than Harry Potter or anything else)! The first book was AMAZING and then Never Fade was EVEN BETTER. (I couldn't judge it only on the first book because most trilogies get progressively worse but not this one!)

Reading it now! It definitely has a different feel than TDM and took some time to hook onto and understand, but it's pretty good right now!

Yeah it took me awhile to understand the whole Liam/Prisoner 27/Cole thing too!
Yeah I was hooked on page 8 of The Darkest Minds but Never Fade took longer because it was confusing.
It was confusing but in a way that I wanted to keep going to figure out what was really going on. I think generally second books are a bit slower than the first, but you get more emotionally invested in the characters and the story.I loved this book as much as I loved TDM, definitely. This is shaping out to be one of my favorite series ever.

Yeah there wasn't much romance but the Ruby and Liam parts were so powerful ..I loved themAt the beginning I liked how she threw us off with Liam's brother!!
I didn't think it was slow at all I thought it was so fast and unpredictable
I really happy with this book, which made me sooo happy because I'm usually disappointed with the second book. I love all the characters but (view spoiler)

I just finished the book. I didn't think it was possible for my soul to be any more shredded than it was after the first book, but it happened. Alexandra Bracken has crushed my soul into a million pieces for the second time.

I just... I don't know why I subject myself to this torture. Liam and Ruby going on and off during the book kind of annoyed me. They just need to be together again!!

Some people didn't like it because it was from the POV of a skip-tracer but I liked it. Except for the ending. Because Bracken seems to like crushing my soul.

I can not even begin to tell you how much I loved this book! LIAM!!! In the first book I thought Ruby was OK, she wasn't my favorite heroin, but in this one I love her.
I loved how it ended! Burn Clansey! It was so funny how they locked him in a closet. :)
I also loved Cole! When we first met him I thought it was Liam. I loved how she told us it wasn't him, though. It was kinda like show don't tell. Alexandra Bracken is just amazing. I love all her characters. Their just so believable and lovable. JADE! :'(
I know I use love in pretty much every sentence, but I just loved it so much! Can't wait for the next one! Anyone know when it comes out?
You all know that the titles of all the books make a sentence right? So far it's The darkest minds never fade... I wonder what the next book is called. How does the sentence end??

Just finished the book a few days ago (I know I'm a few months late but I couldn't get a copy) and OMG I friggen loved it!!!!Like everyone, I was confused in the beginning and I had my hopes up at the end of that first chapter cause I thought "OMG ITS LIAM!!!!" But no, of course it wasn't.
One of my favourite scenes was the one in the garage with Liam and Ruby, my god when he talked about being at the beach it ripped my heart out!
I love Ruby so much in this book, but she annoyed me to no end when they meet Fancy (haha I love Jude) at Dairy Queen and SHE DOENS'T SHOOT HIM. No, she decides to take the guy that cant control anyone he wants WITH THEM. I mean, really Ruby? It didn't cross your mind once that hey, maybe this isn't such a good idea?
JUDE. I can't believe he died, he was just so sweet! When they were in the tunnel, trying to escape after the explosion and the kiss and stuff, I was like hey where's Jude? Jude? WHERE ARE YOU? And then they get out and still no mention of Jude. But then Ruby sees him and I'm all relieved and just thinking that my brain is thinking the worst. But then ITS NOT JUDE!
And Cole is a red! Did not see that one coming! I can't wait till that is explored more in the next book. Is there more Psi adults? Who are they?
Yeah I noticed that too about the title. Its awesome!

Darkest Minds was a very good book but this one was slow paced and kind of boring. Hopefully the 3rd book is way better.
