Jamie then remembered that she could read minds. She read his mind. He actually cared. Not like her (ex)boyfriend, but Jason actually cared about her!

"I…" Jamie was about to reply, but then suddenly remembered she hadn't broken up with her boyfriend, yet. "I can't. I'm sorry. I have a boyfriend." She then picked up her bag and exited the building, embarrassed.

He nearly slashed her throat when suddenly, Jamie turned around and kissed him, for the longest time. She reached around his back, into the back pocket of his jeans, and grabbed a knife and…

Jason's eyes widened as the blood poured from his chest. Jamie stood watching over him, cold hearted.

She walked out of the alleyway with a grim, smug smile on her face, heeled boots clicking with every step she took.

She started to run faster, ducking behind houses and down empty alleyways until she finally reached her apartment. She threw open the door and slammed it behind her, calling out her boyfriend's name...
"Sam?" she called out. But he was not there.Damnit! She knew she shouldn't have gone out tonight. She shouldn't have run away after she had found out. "It'a okay Sam, we can talk about it!"
He had cheated on her, and she had skipped school and then gotten into that mess with the boys in the alleyway.
It wasn't like she needed to go to school anyway...
The teacher was rude, and so were a lot of the students.
She was nearly ready to legally drop out anyway. She knew the country needed her. There were others living under constant threat who couldn't even get to a school.
She decided to peek out the window to see if anyone followed her.
No one had, but looking around her apartment, it seemed that Sam had moved out. There was nothing of his left and she realised that without his stuff, her place looked very desolate.
She hated the wrongness that went on in the outside world. She was part of the privileged, but all she wanted to do was fight for those who weren't.So now, here she was alone.
Sam may have moved out due to fear, or else he was one of the bad guys.
Jamie didn't know. But eventually she stoped crying and...
