SOLVED. Prince marries princess from another planet, finds out She is a He! [s]

Please help me find this sci-fi book it's a GBLT where the this prince marries a princess for political reasons I think and find out the princess is male(!), I guess because the prince(ss)'s height and features make him look feminine that no one thought he was a guy. So the prince marries the princess even when he finds out the truth about the princess real gender and doesn't really care. Anyway the princess tells his reasons for deceiving everyone, which was because on his home planet males killed as soon as they are born(kinda like the amazons, its a very female dominate race I don't quite remember) the princess/prince's mom, who was also the Queen, didn't want him to be killed so she hid the princess's real gender. Plus is seems that the princess has some special powers that is also a secret. So only the mom and the nursemaid, who was their when the princess was born knows the real gender of the princess. And then there is someone conspiring to against the couple probably to cause a war or gain something (most likely power), and it is up to the princess to help the prince and at the same time keep his real gender and secret powers from being discovered. (Side note: i think the story is told from the prince's point of view)

Mary--you haven't given this anywhere near enough time on this group. Sometimes it takes a year (or 5) to find a title. All you have to do is come in once every 30 to 60 days and bump it back up to the top of the thread.

Every 30-60 days just type "bump" in a new post. This bumps it to the top of the thread and new members will see it, and older members will be reminded of it.

You bumped it up by asking the question. Most people just type "bump", which is why we call it bumping.

I've had books that I bumped up faithfully and they were ID'ed after 3 or 4 years--and I have others that I'm still bumping up and hoping that they are found. One of them, we've found the source story (it was an updated re-telling of a Nordic myth) but not the story itself. I keep bumping it up, and I know that sooner or later, it will be found. I just have to keep hoping. But in my case--some of my books aren't US books--my Dad was a career Naval officer, so we lived all over the world AND all over the US. But sooner or later someone will know my books and I'll finally have a title to search for. :o)

No thats not it but it's close. It's the mother who makes the princess dress and act like a girl so that no one on their home planet will know the princess is male and not female.
