an alien crash lands his ship into a pasture and is injured. a girl finds him and takes him back to her house on the mountain to take care of him. his ship is this gold metal thing some if it breaks off to go with its owner and forms bracelets on her, the ship is sentient. the girl is like a glass maker she is in the middle of working on A huge project when she finds him. one of the men in town I think the sheriff who used to be in the army has a fixation on her. the alien dude wakes up and figures out that she is his mate. he plans on taking her home with him but she must finish her project first. she takes the project to the owner by plane there she meets like four women who she invites to her place for the night. on the way back the sheriff tries to take her and the alien dude rescues them. they find out that he can shift into a dragon I think. he takes them all with him. she ends up being able to shift also. definitely a series each book surrounding the girls as they find their mates. if I remember right the girl is taken by someone ands shifts for the first time in captivity. read in maybe 2011 or 2012 .
