compelling read

I'm a little late reading Steve Jobs, but I have to say it is a compelling read. Over 700 pages, but for me, a definite page turner! In spite of his offensive style with friends and colleagues, I still think there are lessons to be learned. Not only is it an interesting look at a true genius, but a testament to living with passion and the impact that can have on others. He also was smart enough to know he couldn't do everything and selected people who were the best at what they did. Although I didn't agree with his management style, he was able to get people to do what they thought was "impossible," a true lesson in the fact that we only use a tiny percentage of our ability!

So true, I am on pg 162 and I am hooked! Despite his flaws, what Steve did very well was be himself, he never wanted to copy people, or had the pressure society puts on us to be a certain way, everything he did was genuine, innovative, world changing. makes me ask myself - What am I bringing to this world?

I read this book twice. No doubt the book is really good and about Steve jobs one thing I found out that just be yourself, you don't owe anything to anybody and do what your heart desires.

I listened to the book on audio. Found a real journey.
I actually postponed listening to the last audio CD cause I knew how it end. It was sad to see how this mans gifts also contributed to his demise.

His passion for doing this well provide some take aways that can be embraced.
