It's about a boy and his mysterious butler. The butler is clearly more than human, and the forces they are up against are clearly not of this world, but just what they are exactly you'll have to read and find out. If you like Victorian-era fantasy and aren't squeamish about blood (there's the obligatory Jack the Ripper storyline that gets quite messy), pick it up.
