Jaylie smiled as the scent of salsa and cheese entered her nose. "Oh, how I love Chipotle," she looked up at Ivan.

"I always get the same thing," she laughed and dipped a chip into the fresh bowl of salsa placed on the table.

"So, Ivy, what have you been up to lately?" Jaylie asked while arching her brows and biting into her chip.

Jaylie was staring at the menu, wondering whether or not she would try something different one day. She looked up at Ivan and cocked her head to the side. "Lets you do what?"

"Oh," Jaylie said while taking another bite. She wiped her hand and asked for a sweet tea from the waiter. She looked back at Ivan. "Have you seen Todd?"

Jaylie tapped her thumb against her bottom lip. "Uh, I think you saw both of us down at that teacher conference three weeks ago. I don't think we've really seen each other since. He's wanting to go on a bro trip with you," she said rolling her eyes.

Jaylie pursed her lips. "Ivan, that's my brother! He's just a kid at heart." She looked around the room. "Some friend you are to him," she muttered.

"I honestly don't care," she shrugged and laughed. "You don't have to like him. I was just messing with you." She looked back at him and grinned. "You don't like Todd. You're more of a fan for serious people who can have fun, not people our age who act like ten year olds. I get that."

"Todd would be heartbroken if he found out you didn't like him. He always wanted a brother, not a sister," Jaylie ordered her food when the waiter came back, and she sipped on her tea.

"You do realize that Todd is older than you, right?" Jaylie laughed. "And so am I." She stirred her drink with her straw.

"I said you were handsome. Don't let it get to your head. It's big enough already," Jaylie munched on a chip and grinned to herself.

She made the face she makes before laughing but contained her laughter. "Figure of speech, darling. I'm sure it isn't the first time you've heard it." She winked and took another sip of her drink.

"You just think that you're so smart," Jaylie rolled her eyes. She ran a hand through her hair and pushed some of it from her shoulders.

Jaylie watched him and his hand. "Doing what exactly?" She was going to learn all about him whether he liked it or not.

"Like an interrogator?" Jaylie arched her brows at him and leaned forward over the table. "Or a spy?"

((Sorry! I'm trying to think of something interesting for her to do or say lol))
Jaylie sighed and leaned back into her chair. She, too, sat silent and let a piece of ice melt into her mouth.
((I'll think of something))

Ivan stared her down until he felt a rumble in his stomach again. Sighing, he picked up another chip and stuck it between his teeth.
Jaylie picked up a chip and threw it at him. "Why won't you tell me anything? Do you not trust me?"
((I enjoy the mystery of him ;) ))

((Also because he is from TTP))
"I hate that. I'm a trustworthy person..." Jaylie said giving an awkward smile. She was known to slip a little, white lie every now and then, but she was still pretty trustworthy...
((Mmmm, so yummy.))

Their food came along with another bowl of salsa and chips. Jaylie thanked the waiter and looked down at her food. "Well, why don't you tell me anything you can tell me?"

"A wealthy family and Luca," Jaylie said. "What are they all like?" Maybe she could get some information from him.

"How old is Luca?" Jaylie asked before taking a bite of her food. She mixed a spoonful of salsa into in and took another bite.

"You haven't been home for two years now? You must really miss it, though. I'm sure you'd have to go back someday, right?" Jaylie cocked her head to the side. "I mean, I would have to go back to see Todd if he was in another place."

Jaylie pursed her lips and stared at him. His tone implied that something had happened or gone wrong in Russia. That wasn't a lot of information, but it was more than she had. "Surely you miss it a little? I've been thinking of going there one day, in fact. " She didn't like being snapped at, but hey, he was telling her stuff.

Jaylie sighed and looked down at the food in front of her. "I'm sorry," she said, poking her food with a fork. "I didn't want to push, but I don't know you, Ivy. It's kind of difficult to be friends with someone you don't know...I do think I'll go to Russia one day, honestly." She peeked back up at him.
