Going on my elderly WC knowledge (arcs 1-4), there are errors in some of the names. They're too descriptive, specifically in the sense that 'of', 'which', 'the' and '-ing' are almost never used. Tribe names are meant to be severely broken English. So much so that it should make English majors scream in terror! For example, Chirp of Cricket at Night. A better of it would be Cricket Chirps at Night. With a longer one, a proper alteration of Mouse which Leaps from Jaws of Cat would be Mouse Leaps from Jaw. It's also a name that would belong to a prey-hunter, not a cave-guard. My best example of my own characters is Rain that Falls from Sky, nickname being Rain. Granted, he's always born in a clan, his mother being tribe-born and wanting to give her kits tribe names to uphold tradition. (His clan name being Rainblaze.)

However, there are a few exceptions that are really good in the list, namely Root of Great Oak and Sky that is Empty of Clouds. The only thing I'd change with Sky is removing the 'that' to fit the normal word limit. Normally, tribe names consist of 4-5 words. Any longer tends to be too descriptive or overall feel off in some way.

Again, this is all based off my knowledge of arcs 1-4. I refuse to read past Dawn of the Clans, so I may be out of date. ;u;


On an entirely different note, this group has been dead for almost ten years (Dear StarClan, I'm old...), so I personally say this one's a lost cause. The Warrior Cats role-play scene on Goodreads seem to be a dying species, unfortunately...
