Yeah, I actually like the name Isabella. I think it's pretty. Of course, I can never use it now that Stephenie Meyer screwed it up... :P
In this rp for charries, this one girl named herself bella, and then in parentheses was like, "SHUT THE HELL UP, I KNOW YOUR THINKING ABOUT TWILIGHT, BUT I HATE TWILIGHT, SO DON'T THINK I'M NAMING THIS AFTER BELLA!"
I don't like how Isabella is just a common name cuz all the ppl I know named Isabella are going, "I'm Bella Swan! I'm Bella Swan!" >(

I can't now because a bunch of it is online (private group) because it started as a roleplay, but I'm going to take my characters, change them a bit, and use them in a book I'll write someday...
Basically, I'll probably tweak their abilites/personalities/NAMES!! a bit so they're not exactly the same. Mainly their NAMES. *cough*
No kidding. I loved the name Rosalie but I can't use it now. (sobs and runs away to listen to depressing music.)

I hadn't heard it before, but I do like it. I mean, Emmett's actually a decent character (YAY, VIOLENCE), but I still can't use it because of the crazy Twi-hards. O_O

We do hate Twilight but we sure don't take it personal to a human being.
Yeah. We have no problem with thinking of harming the characters themselves, though, because they're obviously fictional.

Plus there are 88 official constellations, not to mention hundreds of named stars. I don't think that there'll be another with the same name.

As many probably pointed out before-hand, "Bella" is a name originating from the Italian language meaning "Beautiful" and her last name is "Swann"...basically swan with two n's.Her name is more of a play on words, seeing that swans are graceful and Bella is so "OMG, I'M SO KLUT-Z :D!", and her first name is SM's play on irony (rather failed, in my opinion), seeing that Bella has no self-confidence and thinks that she just looks plain unattractive or rather boring, when the name means beautiful...and, in the language, bella is used for a very attractive girl.
SM: herpderp, lets see heeeere...lemme think real hard 'bout whut I wanna name this here lady friend of that dark and sexy vampire feller...Bella? SOUNDS PURDY, let's do that one :DDDI wonder what she was like as a child...
