Madysen (vaiyala) | 142 comments Okay, I discovered something the other day in Biology class.

Get this...

The cerebellum is the part of the brain that controls balance and coordination. Cerebellum sounds like Bella and Bells is known for her infamous clumsiness. Do you think SM might have intended something like this as a joke? I'm not entirely sure but it's possible. ^_^

Fdragon010 | 13 comments At first I thought Bella's name was an obvious referance to a certian actor. A certian Lugosi...

Wonder why I got that impression...

message 7: by Highd (new)

Highd Her name means Beautiful Swan. God damn I want beat Stephenie in the head with a frying pan.

Actually, no. I didn't. LOL

I know, I know. Biggest idiot on earth, right here. But I don't get too much into biology. I'm more of a Spanish/English/Arts person.

Jenads85 | 52 comments I don't wish any harm on the woman. I just think she's an overrated author who writes poorly. Honestly, if I was given nothing but the character's names, a few vague details, and was allowed to run with it I could have written a much better story. My family is from New Orleans...we invented vampires. Just kidding about that, but all you Anne Rice fans know what I mean. :)

Agreed. Stephenie herself seems alright but I'm just dissatisfied with the fact that her writing is so over-rated, especially when it isn't anything new or special. I only bash the books themselves.

message 16: by Jenads85 (new)

Jenads85 | 52 comments Same here. I really don't know much about her personally. But...it's kind of like when I watch a really dark, disgusting horror movie. I find myself wondering, "What kind of sick person thinks this stuff up?" Reading TL made me wonder something similar. She's not a disgusting person, but I can't help but think she has some very skewed ideas about love and life.

message 26: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicapineda) Just to complete it: Bella Swann; "Beautiful Swan."

Yeah yeah Meyer we get it. We get it that you can't think up a name that's as pretty as the covers (Yes I think the covers are pretty. Pretty much why they say "Never judge a book by its cover")

message 27: by Simona-- (new)

Simona-- I'm kind of intense (completelyinsane) | 806 comments no. sMeyer isn't particularly smart or anything............................

lol, i dont like ths covers, but yeah, i agree... XD

message 29: by Randi (new)

Randi (The Artist Formerly known as Guitar Chick) (guitarchick) Very interesting with the cerebellum thing. But beautiful Swan was a little much, 'cause for one thing, swans are graceful and Bella is about as graceful as an eight hundred pound old guy. It's is so disgusting. *shivers*

message 30: by Randi (new)

Randi (The Artist Formerly known as Guitar Chick) (guitarchick) ;.)

Olivia ^^The Awesome Mushroom^^ (canttaketheawesomeness) | 756 comments Oh, here's another thing: Her name is a question.

Is-a-bell-a-swan? Is a bell a swan? o_O

OF COURSE NOT, IDIOT!

message 32: by Randi (new)

Randi (The Artist Formerly known as Guitar Chick) (guitarchick) hahahaahhahahahahaha

message 35: by Nightshade (new)

Nightshade | 1257 comments LOL wow :D

message 36: by Caroline (new)

Caroline I think she named her Bella cause she thought bella was supposed to be the worlds hottest chick zOMG!!
The only people that think that are Stephenie Meyer and her loyal Death Eat--I mean twitards.

message 37: by Caroline (new)

Caroline Bella=beautiful
in meyerspeak that means zOMG hot!all boys like her.
And twitards are Death Eaters cause they torture you with their wicked unforgivable curses of madness and edward/bella/etc. love. And she is Voldy cause she thinks her cause is beneficial.

Olivia ^^The Awesome Mushroom^^ (canttaketheawesomeness) | 756 comments xD lolz, I agree.

message 39: by Caroline (new)

Caroline Oh, sorry. Didn't realize there were lots of comparisons...it's kinda hard to compare, and the twitards as death eaters kinda doesn't make much sense now that I think about it.

message 40: by Bookworm (new)

Bookworm (catsy2008) Yeah, it's said that everywhere.

message 41: by Caroline (new)

Caroline It's got the crazy fans and fanfiction, yeah, but Twilight is just a harlequin in disguise. Harry Potter is extremely well thought out. Predictable? Somewhat. But is Twilight? To the point where I can just guess what will happen and my friends say, "But I thought you didn't read the books."

message 42: by Caroline (new)

Caroline My AP History teacher loves Avatar.
Yours sounds cooler.

Olivia ^^The Awesome Mushroom^^ (canttaketheawesomeness) | 756 comments I like both of them. ^^

message 44: by Nightshade (new)

Nightshade | 1257 comments I'm jealous of you and your awesome history teachers. My history teacher is... meh. She's... okay. She gives a ridiculous amount of homework, and we're not even in AP :(

But today we had Circle Time and we were going around saying our favorite TV shows... the common answers were House, LOST, Grey's Anatomy, etc. Then the circle got around to me. My answer? SpongeBob SquarePants.

I got some enthusiastic yells of "YEAH, SPONGEBOB!!" from a few people. XD

message 45: by Randi (new)

Randi (The Artist Formerly known as Guitar Chick) (guitarchick) How about we compare them to.................
I don't know, Kitty Norville, so I can stop annoying Steph? I'm trying to be nice.... :.)

message 46: by Simona-- (new)

Simona-- I'm kind of intense (completelyinsane) | 806 comments Demon wrote: "I don't like Spongebob either..I feel that it is a retarded and nonsensical cartoon.."

Aww! But it's so much fun! And the SpongeBob movie? THE BEST. I know that probably makes me a four year old boy, but this girl doesn't care!

message 47: by Nightshade (new)

Nightshade | 1257 comments LOL! The Spongebob movie was AMAZING! Like, the original movie, not Truth or Square or whatever. Although Truth or Square was pretty awesome, too. XD

Also, I'd rather not say how old I am... let's just say that I really should have outgrown Spongebob by now, but I haven't. XD

message 48: by Randi (new)

Randi (The Artist Formerly known as Guitar Chick) (guitarchick) ON topic people: How's bouts we compare Twilight to.... gosh I'm still clueless. Maybe Kitty like my aforementioned said.

message 49: by deliabookworm (new)

deliabookworm | 49 comments Lol somehow I don't think SM knows what the cerebellum is...she probably thinks it's a brand of mascara...
