Teagan sat on a bench in the garden amongst rose bushes and lavender reading her book. It was like a picture. A butterfly suckled on a rose and a bird fluttered by.

Alec decides to take a walk out in the gardens to wake himself up and clear his mind, he heads out and smiles when he spots Taegan walking up to her he clears his throat so she knows he's there.
Teagan looks up from her book and sees him standing there, "Can I help you?" she asks politely.
"What?' he asks. "What no,, just dropping in to say good afternoon" he says a little annoyed. He plops down next to her on the bench, "Whatcha reading?" he asks a boyish grin spread across his face.
Teagn closed her book and set it down on the other side, away from him. "A book." she answers blankly. She sighed and looked ahead of her. The sun shone down illuminating her. The breeze slightly rustled her hair.
Alex stares at her admiringly, it would be a shame to kill such a pretty thing. But it had to be done he thought sighing. "Fine then. I'll just leave" he says getting up.
Teagan nods in acknowledgement and picked her book back up. She resumed reading, "Good day, my lord." she said, not looking up from her book
Well that was productive Alex thought as he lazily sauntered through the garden going over all the reasons he had to kill Taegen.
Teagan soon got up as the supper bell was rung. She headed to the dining hall. This was to be an informal supper, and then for dinner she was to dress up and eat with important members of the court, along with her father. As always.
Alex started top get hungry and decided to pluck an apple from one of the various orchards. He finally decided to go back in and started walking back.
She met her father in the dining hall and curtsied. Then she took her seat. For supper they were having a light asparagus and cream soup, along with some bread topped with ripe raspberries.
Alex walks into the castle and spots the dining hall but doesn't know whether he should go in or not so he just walks across it guessing if he was welcomed they'd have called him in.
The father and daughter soon finished their food and exused themselves from the table. Teagan got up and went to her room. She changed into a white shirt that flared out at the sleeves and slipped on some brownish red trousers. She loosley pinned her hair up and pulled on some boots before heading out. She went to the stables and walked over to her horse. Her horse was a sleek, grey horse. It had been the best horse they had ever recieved and was a present from her late brother. She pet his snout before leaping on his back.
Alex walks into the Kitchen and grabs a loaf of bread from one of the younger cooks, his looks came in handy sometimes he thought as he heads back outside and scouts the land for a tall tree and hauling himself up. He planned to spend at least part of his day here he thought as he climbed higher and higher until he reached a bunch of branches together to form a kind of platform and lay down.

He really didn't understand why Taegen was being such a brat, like get over yourself? Alex usually had girls on their knees for him, literally and figurative so he had no clue as to why Taegen was different.

(( Haha it's fine I have to go sleep now anyway. Night )))Alex jumped onto the next tree, then the next. Like a monkey. Jesus what is wrong with you? he thought annoyed but didn't stop. He finally did though, on a giant oak in what seemed to be like a little grove. He spotted a horse, and climbed lower searching for it's owner.
Teagan pulled a long peice of grass from the ground and unconsciously started humming as she played with the. Her sweet voice rang out through the quiet forest.

Teagan kept humming as she braided the strands of grass together. She suddenly stopped and sighed. "Ah, Tyal, don't oyu wish we could just run away, and come live out here forever? No worries...no duties. Oh, how I wish." she slightly chuckled at herself for thinking it.
Alex jumps as if breaking out of trance and jumps down to the ground which was at least 12 ft below him he does a roll and jumps up bowing to her. "Good afternoon, my lady" he says his face breaking into a big smile.
Teagen, startled, leapt up from her spot on the ground. "What are you doing here?" she asked demandingly. She glanced at Tyal who pawed the ground, he also looked startled by the unexpected event.
"I could ask the same" he says sitting down on the floor beneath a tree. "But I won't. just taking a walk" he replies casually plucking grass and flicking it at the horse who seems to like it.
"Well I best be going, as should you. We are to dine within the hour." she brushed the grass off her trousers and walked to Tyal. She skillfully swung onto his back.
Alex nodded and frowned. She was getting on his nerves, "Got it, be safe" he said waving his hand as if dismissing her he hauled himself up onto the branches and started back home.

Teagan set off in a gallop, rushing through the trees. Her cloak blew behind her. She arrived at the castle just in time to wash up and dress in more appropriate apparal
Alex arrived a few minutes after Taegan and went to dress, he arrived back at the main dining room hall dressed primly in a suit like attire just like the rest of the noble and royal men.
Teagan dressed in a brilliant green gown that brought out both of her eyes. Opals were decorated the bodice, and a thin layer of white lace covered the skirt. The dress looked beautiful on her, complimenty everyone of her assets. She left her soft, wavy hair down and exited the room.
Alex smirked when he saw some of the royal and noble girls staring at him in awe, and lust. He had that effect on girls he thought as he moved to where the King had indicated for him to sit. Where was Taegan?
Teagan entered the dining hall. She ignored the lust filled looks the men held, and the envy that was in the women's eyes. She waited as a guard came to eacort her to her seat next to her father.
Alex sat on the other side, and smiled at every girl staring at him. The entire room stared at him and he smiled back seductively. This was going to be fun he thought.

Alex leans back against his chair and turns to talk to the king, "Good evening, sir" he says shooting some of the older women who were staring at him a dazzling smile.
The king cleared his throat. The more he saw this boy, the less he liked hin. He didn't not show proper respect for him, and he didn't even greet his daughter.
Teagan sat modestly in her seat. Her hands were crossed in her lap and her eyes were cast down. The fore from the candles hangin from the chandeliers cast a warm glow on her face. She could feel the eyes of the men devouring her like hungry dogs.

Alex sighed slightly and cursed himself for forgetting he turns to the Princess and smiles at her politely for the first time. "Forgive me, My Lady" he says nodding "A good evening to as well" he says bowing his head. He smiles again when he notices the jealous looks he gets from all the women, and men in the room.
Teagan lifted her head and smiled, knowing the was being watched, "And the same to you, my lord." a few of the men snickered with envy, and the women glared at the exchange.
Alex nods at her and turns back to the king smiling again, he had to charm the king if he was to get close to his annoying daughter. She wasn't even all that pretty, whereas he was known worldwide for being the most beautiful and wanted man, he'd seen girls prettier than her in his own kingdom. Though, she was pretty he thought bitterly.
Teagan didn't see how Alex was that goodlooking. She had heard from so many people that he was so handsome, but she didn't see it. She was known to be extravagantly beautiful for any kingdom. But she did have to admit...he was better looking than most people of the court
Alex gets into a conversation with one of guards next to him, talking about politics, and kingdoms. He wasn't really interesting in it,. but had to to remain in a good position.
Teagan got sucked in to a animate conversation with a man sitting next to her. She politely laughed and nodded, adding in a few of her own thoughts. "And boy, the emerald gleamed so brightly. But of course your eyes are a billion times more beautiful...." the man looked dazedly at her. She lightly laughed, "Why sir, you flatter me so." she flushed on command.
Alex gets into a conversation with one of guards next to him, talking about politics, and kingdoms. He wasn't really interesting in it,. but had to to remain in a good position.

Alex gets bored and turns back to the King and tries to start a conversation with him about wars on neighboring kingdoms,.
