Jan Atkins (weatkins) | 8 comments Small town in NE United States decides to close off their borders to any visitors to prevent the influenza from coming into their town. They have to post people with guns around the entrances and, as they are basically good people, have to make some tough ethical decisions.

When did you read this Jan? Was it fiction or non-fiction? Was the entire book about the town and the consequences of doing this? Did it feature specific people or was it an overview of the entire town?

It was fiction and was centered on that town and its citizens. Of course, there were certain citizens that stood out as well as people wanting to come in. It was a remote town, a distance from a bigger one where they usually picked up their supplies.

I believe I read it 4 or 5 years ago. But it could have been much less time than that.
