Logically yes. But who thinks logically when you're infatuated?

You took the words right out of my mouth I LOVED Patch!!! But it was Nora that really annoyed me!

I like his sense of danger. And I love his edge. But my instincts would be screaming RUN AWAY"
He's HOTTTT so I would Ignore those instincts and run towards him!!!!

Yeah please. Like I'm going to stay from that sexy fineness. My goal in life is to find myself a Patch.

Did you even read my post?

Yes, yes I did. And I don't care. Patch is hot and I would date him. No matter how stalker-rapist-serial- killer he is.

I'm with you.
I'm with you.

I'm with you."
Patch never raped Nora!"
but he gives me that sort of bad vibe. I watch a lot of crime/ forensic shows. Patch comes off as a serial killer more than a serial rapist.
granted, patch never did rape her, but he does sexually harass her.

He thought about it, though. You can tell.

i would consider continuing the series just to see if he really does improve (as you said); but you rated this one 5 stars so your opinion doesn't convince me much, and i already lost enough IQ points reading it once.

You can tell what he's thinking even though it's not in the book? That's quite a talent you've got.

i think it's called "reading between the lines" or common sense, which ever you want to call it. personally, i like the latter.

I prefer "making things up".

hell, "'making things up' - as you go along" is how most of the books in this genre are made.

Sadly.
Sadly.

Isn't that how every fiction book is written?

i said making it up as you go along. Good fiction books are planned out and based on real life (to an extent).
V for Vendetta, Hunger Games, We All Fall Down (off the top of my head) are planned, and based on/ inspired by real life. The authors also researched a bit to make sure the books make sense and seem more believable.
Books like Hush Hush, Twilight, House of Night ect. are filled with meaningless words the author pulled out of their ass.

I'm not sure you really understand much about the writing process.

granted, i'm not a best selling author like our lovely fitzpatrick; but when i read a book with tons of plot holes, continuity mistakes, too-purple prose, and a love intrest that is abusive, it makes me wonder just how much work was actually put into the book.
As a posed to a book that has a good flow, a story that makes sense, and loveable characters, i feel lots more work and thought was put into it.
so what about the writing process do i not understand?

Words, for one thing. It's opposed, not a posed.

a common spelling mistake. big deal

He's so Cutee!! She should make a book in Patch's P.O.V!!!

That's a beautiful way to look at it! I love Patch for those reasons also. I like also that he was romantic, but it was a realistic romantic for someone with his personality. He cared for her and wasn't gushy mushy lovey dovey; if he would have become that book boyfriend I probably would have dropped the series forever because it just wasn't him.

Am I alone here?

No.
And I don't care how "hot" Patch is, he's DANGEROUS!

Of course he is but the fact that he not only gave up on his endeavor for a human body, but saved her instead of taking his chance shows a deep deep change in him, which I love! :3
The first half of the book I was screaming at Nora to give it a rest because he clearly was not someone she should be around but then at the very end was when I started liking him.

Path seems like one of those characters from a horror film who stalks one of the female leads, waits around the house until the parents leave, break into the house, and creates a bloody massacre.
Pick your poison, machete, or chainsaw?
