Aayesha | 6 comments I'd like some recs where the heroine is in love with the hero, while the hero is in love/infatuated with someone else.

It'd be nice if a MOC was thrown into the mix, but I'm not very choosy :)

A couple examples are Magnolia and Nobody Asked Me.

I have not read this one, but there is Ravishing the Heiress by Sherry Thomas.

Ravishing the Heiress (Fitzhugh Trilogy, #2) by Sherry Thomas

Apologies, you were looking for Harleys specifically, correct? I might have read some with this theme a while back. I'll look through my books.

You might also want to check out these lists (there are some Harleys listed):

Two Harleys I thought of:

Miranda's Marriage I think fits, although I don't remember the issue being the centerpiece of the story.

Standing On The Outside also not the centerpiece, but undertones of same.

Aayesha | 6 comments Thank you so much, Lulu!! <3 You're such a sweetheart!

I've read Standing on the Outside, and I checked out the other links you suggested. Thanks again!

(Pst, if your friends know of any books with this trope, do tell me! I'm insatiable ;) )

(HATED the heroine, though. My hatred for her knows no bounds. And in case you haven't figured it out already, I'm a heroine-hater :P Always on the guy's side ;) )

Aayesha | 6 comments *awkward silence* I am a sufferer of short term memory loss... *shifty eyes* (LOL, not really, but I tend to forget a lot. Absent-mindedness is the bane of my existence.)

Thank you so much!! <3

Roub (roubina) | 34 comments hi again:) i'll suggest my all time favourite Farelli's Wife. hero chose heroine's cousin over her n married her. the story begins wid the cousin dead n hero still in love wid his wife.

Marriage at His Convenience (Wedlocked) the hero was a total ass but i liked it very much, another of my favourite

n then some more

The Sheikh's Innocent Bride he was in love wid his childhood best friend/stepsister smthng like dat while heroine falls in love wid him

Sicilian Millionaire, Bought Bride he was still in love with his dead wife n marries her best friend in a MOC

A Perfect Marriage they were in a MOC and hero fell in love with OW n cheated on heroine

Promised To A Sheik hero fell in love at 1st sight wid heroine's twin

non-harlequin ones:
The Marriage Bed
To Wed A Highlander
Taming the Highlander

Aayesha | 6 comments Thank you so much, Roub!! <3 I've read a couple of them but a few were new to me. I'll stay away from Lynne Graham and Laura Lee Guhrke, though :P

And the last one, it seems promising! Is the heroine a virgin?
