Please feel free to add books/short stories to our bookshelf
- you need to be a Goodreads EDCMOOC member to do so.
If the book/short story isn't available in Goodreads' database,
please manually add the story by trying the following steps:
1. in the SEARCH BAR (top-leftish), enter the title/author/isbn. In the next webpage that opens:
2. CLICK the 'Manually add a book' button-link (located top-right). In the new webpage that opens:
3. FILL IN THE DETAILS required as much as you can. In the next webpage that opens after you save this page:
4. FILL IN the 'review' & save (to complete the process).
5. View the page & details of your new entry - you can re-edit it if you're not satisfied.
To view what's currently 'in' our bookshelf:
https://www.goodreads.com/group/books...
(this page is also ever-present as a button-link on the top-right link of the webpage).
Selections are made from the bookshelf+ in a monthly voting poll for the next #edcmchat discussion.
So, the more the merrier!
(Can be a little tricky if you're wanting to enter a short story that's part of an anthology that's already listed. In this case, add the anthology and/or/also the short story too, separately - which will make Goodreads polls easier to handle.)
And please keep in mind EASY ACCESSIBILITY for members ie. online & open availability where possible.
Happy Hunting & Sharing!

There was a webinar coupla days ago; Nicola Osborne's review notes eg. on socio-materialism as one theoretical aspect that edcmooc works from - http://nicolaosborne.blogs.edina.ac.u....
Hope this is helpful; Edcmooc Goodreads is all run voluntarily, so if you don't receive feedback immediately to questions or request, all in good time!
Thanks to Anne for finding this list of Margaret Attwood short stories http://www.luminarium.org/contemporar...
Yesterday was the free comic book day - and there is a great adaptation of 6 novels from Cony Doctorow for comic book that can be downloaded from here : https://archive.org/details/CoryDocto...

I added several short stories/novelettes to our bookshelf.
Most of them are recent winners of either Hugo or Nebula awards ("Oscar" equivalents in science fiction).
I also remember that during one of our twitter chats someone mentioned the lack of female authors in our bookshelf. That is why most of the works I added this time are written by women.

Fantastic selection Asta. Thanks for adding. Bravo! All new ones to me so can't wait to read them
