Arghh hard one! Both suffer so much. Probably Tris, because at least she always has Tobias :P Katniss' love life is a little... complex, shall we say (view spoiler)[ plus Prim dies and that would be horrible to go through, as well as the hunger games (especially the Quarter Quell). But Tris goes through heaps as well, especially killing Will, as well as Al's suicide, Lyn's death, her parents' death, etc. (hide spoiler)]. As I said, hard one.

Never be able to read the sequel to a book with a cliffhanger because what happens if I pick that option, end up only reading that book for the entire year and it turned out to be a total let down? That's a commitment I am not prepared for.
