Age: I am six-teen, going on seventeen...
Gender: male
Appearance: average height, dark brown hair, blue eyes. Neither stunning nor hideous.
Background: lived in the town of Briern with his parents and sister (Aelia) in relative normality until the enemy came. Both his parents were killed and his sister was almost completely blinded. That was when he was twelve and she was ten. He became really protective; she was always his best friend and now they were closer than ever. She loves her brother more than anything and hates feeling like a burden to him (despite his assurances that she is anything but), and one day, when an unusual opportunity to go to be a servant in Ariden arises, she goes. He is crushed. He carries the note she left before she went away everywhere. He has not heard from her since. He was fifteen at that time. Since then, he has looked for her when he could, but most of his time is taken trying to get by. Eventually, through a complex sequence of events that would only waste time to go into, he arranged a ten-year apprenticeship with Remus, a librarian in the court of Lord Delavin. And that is the position in which we find him.

Jordan has grown all his life in his village, Wynd. With his father being one of the most important individuals in his village and his mother having perhaps the most well-known status it's hard for him to get away. He's as well to do as a person can get in a village with the status of Wynd. Not poor but by no means rich either. He lets loose his frustrations in his adventures where he travels far, preferably alone or with his best friend, and practices his training skills and observes the world. Girls flock to him but they're all the same who just want him for his looks. Setting off across the vast sands and rocky ridges to see what is beyond is what he longs to do.
