message 54: by [deleted user] (new)

"Why should I?" He asks raising an eyebrow

message 55: by Lilian (new)

Lilian Moore (thethirdsense) | 1594 comments Donna glared at him. "Because I'm a stuck-up chick who doesn't deserve your love, like or hate, that's why!"

message 56: by [deleted user] (new)

"Got the stuck up part right.." He mumbles to himself

message 57: by Lilian (new)

Lilian Moore (thethirdsense) | 1594 comments She sighed softly. "I know." Caleb opened his mouth, but a look from Donna made him close it again.

Lilian Moore (thethirdsense) | 1594 comments Caleb rolled his eyes. "Well, she has-" Donna whirled on him. "One more word, Jackson, and I'll rip your tongue out!" she hissed.

message 60: by [deleted user] (new)

"Let em finish. Go on Jackson!" He tells him giving her a death glare

message 61: by Lilian (new)

Lilian Moore (thethirdsense) | 1594 comments Donna swallowed in embarrasment and looked away. Caleb leaned closer. "She has a severe case of depression. We're talking really, really, bad."

message 62: by [deleted user] (new)

He raised his eyebrows. "I thought there were cures for that." He states plainly, if he had feelings about it, not portraying them.

message 64: by [deleted user] (new)

Ricky turned around and glared at her. "You have no right to tell me what to do. If i wanna shut up ill do so, but seeing as I don't I will continue to talk."

message 65: by Lilian (new)

Lilian Moore (thethirdsense) | 1594 comments "Fine! Just don't expect me to reply. I'm not smart enough to formulate the words!" she buried her face in her textbook.

message 66: by [deleted user] (new)

"Your obviously not smart enough to realize that you have formulated many words, even in this short time I've talked to you." He informs her, pulling the textbook away.

message 67: by Lilian (new)

Lilian Moore (thethirdsense) | 1594 comments She snatched the textbook back. "Leave me alone, city boy!"

message 68: by [deleted user] (new)

"I don't know why you keep calling me that." He states calmly, yet again taking the textbook from her. He knew how to deal with depression, as his sister has it. "If you think I'm so much lower than you, or that "city boy" is an insult. Than you're wrong. Where I am from, has nothing to do with who I am."

message 69: by Lilian (new)

Lilian Moore (thethirdsense) | 1594 comments Donna sighed and took the textbook back again. "I don't think you're lower than me. You're a lot higher than me. I don't deserve to be spoken to." She looked at him with tear filled eyes. "Just, please, leave me alone." She got up and began to walk out of the class, wanting to just go home and curl up and die.

message 70: by [deleted user] (new)

He stood up and stared at her with crossed arms. He knew because of his sister, that you have to be persistent. "You've got it all wrong." He exclaims. "I'm am no higher than you and you am no higher than I. You realize we are all human, and that man was created equal, that includes you, you are worth something."

message 71: by Lilian (new)

Lilian Moore (thethirdsense) | 1594 comments She wouldn't look at him and shut him out of her hearing. She began walking out the door.

message 72: by [deleted user] (new)

message 73: by Lilian (new)

Lilian Moore (thethirdsense) | 1594 comments Slowly, she turned around and met his eyes. "What?" she asked quietly.

message 74: by [deleted user] (new)

"If you don't hear anything else I say, hear this: You are worth something." He tells her gingerly laying a hand on her right arm. Normally he would never care for a stranger whom he just met, but she was different, she reminded him of his sister.

message 75: by Lilian (new)

message 80: by [deleted user] (new)

message 81: by Lilian (new)

Lilian Moore (thethirdsense) | 1594 comments She went out to the hall and collapsed in a corner. She began crying.

message 82: by [deleted user] (new)

Ricky had to resist the urge to comfort her again. He knew to much pressure could do one of two things: Make the person infuriated, so mad no one could stop them, and push them farther into depression, neither of which he wanted.

message 83: by Lilian (new)

Lilian Moore (thethirdsense) | 1594 comments Donna finally calmed herself and went back into the classroom, not looking at anyone.

"No. Nobody wants to go with me," she said softly and then louder said, "You should ask Marina." CAleb's face paled.
"But-she doesn't like me!"
"Try it and see," Donna advised.

message 86: by [deleted user] (new)
