Did Rue do the "right thing" leaving Angle Tar?

Ingvild Someone wrote a review in which they expressed their disappointment that White didn't stop Rue from doing the wrong thing (I assume they meant leaving Angle Tar in the end). I admit that when I read it I also sat like "NO, RUE, DON'T GO, DON'T GO, RUE, NOOO," but thinking about it and re-reading the beginning, it's not so clear to me after all that it was the "wrong thing" to do. Rue always wanted to see the world, and she couldn't quite believe all she had heard about what a bad place World was. I'm in a way proud of her for not just buying it like so many Angle Tarains (is that what they're called?), but no one seemed to be honest about what was out there, so in a way I think it's good that she gets to see it from both sides, because neither World, nor Angle Tar, is "right" about how to live. Both places are sensible, and it's really about preference. (On the other hand, I did want her to stay and be Frith's bitch and have steamy make out sessions with White, so I don't know, man.)

What do YOU think? Was it the "right thing" to do, or the "wrong thing" after Frith took her in, or was it something in between? Do you FORGIVE her, or do you NOT, or are you PROUD of her for leaving? (Forgive my capitalized words; I've read too much of Maureen Johnson's Twitter.)

(Also I'm saying "right" and "wrong," because, well, the world isn't split into good people and Death Eaters; we've all got both light and dark inside of us. The world isn't black and white, there are only endless shades of grey. I'm making ALL OF THE REFERENCES today.)
