Nick went again but missed this time
She shot two solid colored balls in with one shot.
She smiled and shot in another one before missing, but blocking all his shots with her balls.
He shook his head some more, "This is nuts."
She laughed but it was cut off when her brother came down stairs, "Stacey, who's this guy and what's he doing here?"
Nick looked towards the stairs at the voice that came.
Stacey said, "He's a friend. Um, I think he was about to go home?" She gave Nick a look like, Go with it. Carl said, "I better be going. you need to make dinner before mom leaves for work."
Nick caught her look and nodded, "Yeah I was on my way to the door."
Carl said, "Than out." Stacey whispered, "You don't have to be rude to him, Carl. He's just a friend."
Nick nodded, "Right. See you later, Stacey." He said walking towards the stairs
"See you," she said, hoping he wasn't mad at her. She knew Carl would be.
He waved a little and smiled just a bit before disappearing up the stairs
As soon as he was gone Carl started yelling, "Who do you think you are, inviting random people into my house?! Is he your boyfriend or something because you will NEVER see him again! I'll take you and use you as a human sheild if I have to! You stupid moron! Haven't you figured out you don't deserve friends!" HE started beating up on her and she started crying she whispered, "He's just a friend. I was so lonely..." He kicked her in the chest, breaking two ribs, to shut her up.
Nick sighed as he walked out the door of their house. He didn't like the way her whole attitude changed when her brother came down the stairs. He started to walk away when he heard the yelling. He turned back to the his and frowned knowing that it was her brother. He walked back to the door determined to get her out of there. He didn't care if she was a dark she wasn't like the rest of them and he liked her and didn't want her to get hurt
She was getting thrown against walls and attacked. He swung a punch at her head that knocked her out. He got her in a position to use her and she'd feel it in the morning.
He walked back into the house and just about flew down the stairs when he heard the banging and against the walls of the basement. " What did you do to her?" He half yelled at her brother
He stood up, "What are you still doing here? I thought you were leaving." Her body was hidden behind the pool table.
"I was until I heard you yelling and slamming something against the walls. I'm guessing it was her. So where is she?" He asked again
"In her room. This is my house. Get out. What happens here is none of your bussiness." She groaned in her unconsciousness under the table.
Nick raised his eyebrow when he heard her groan," right she's in her room.. I don't care that this is your house you shouldn't beat up your sister. No matter what."
"She deserves what she gets. You only see what she wants you to see. Get out unless you want her to suffer a lot more."
"Right she deserves to get hurt because she has a friend.... What kind of brother are you? You're right she isn't going to get hurt anymore because she is coming with me."
"No she's not. Because she doesn't recognize you, but you were the one to kill her father. I better leave before you wind up worse than her."
Nick frowned," I haven't killed anyone." He said honestly. He thought about it for a while before he realized that it was his dad who had killed hers.
"I'm out there everyday, I think I'd recognize my father's killer." He actually wouldn't have, he was just making excuses to hurt his sister. He felt powerful when he did so he did.
"Right in sure you would just like I would know who killed my mom." He muttered not taking his eyes off of him
"I'm not asking for pity, I'm just asking for you to get out of here and leave me and my sister alone."
"I'm not giving you any. I want your sister to come with me so she doesn't have to deal with you"
"She's my sister. Bug off." She regained consciousness, but didn't know that Nick was there. she scurried under the table, out of reach of Carl.
"Who cares... You hurt her and you expect her to do things for you." He still couldn't see Stacey but he knew she was scared of her brother
"Yeah well I'm still taking her with me even if I have to pin you to the wall to do so."'
"She won't go." She knew he was talking the nick and knew he'd blow both their houses sky high to get them. and he'd find them. even in the other kingdom. She stayed silent.
"Have you asked her?" He somehow knew that stacey was awake and hiding from both of them. What he didn't know was that she probably wouldn't come with him
He smirked, "Why don't we? Sissy, come on out." She shook her head, not wanting to hurt Nick's feelings. She really cared about him.
He frowned at the way he was talking to her but stayed quiet.
Carl smirked, "She doesn't even want to see you." She hid her face, hating herself, not wanting to hurt him.
"I bet if you left she would talk to me." He retorted. However he really hoped that she would
"Oh, because I'm the reason she doesn't want to go with you?" he made it sound sarcastic.
"If I had to guess yeah that's what I would say"
"Well, dinner's running late because of you and our mom should be up soon so you need to go."
"Fine... I'll leave for now." He said walking back up the stairs((Brb))
