Her brother went to his room and left her alone to hours before dawn when she was able to cry herself to sleep.

Around nine the next morning her mom got home and they all had breakfast together. Stacey didn't eat much.
Nick woke the next morning to his older brother resting his sword on his neck," wake up lazy butt." Nick got up," Shut up."
Stacey said, "I'm going to go read."
Marcus, her brother, stood, "I need to get to the battle feild."
Marcus, her brother, stood, "I need to get to the battle feild."
He looked at his dad and brother and sighed softly. When he was done they all left for the battlefield
She ran to the forest and cried into the pages of her book.
He snuck away from the battlefield and into the forest. He walked around for a while before hearing someone's muffled crying
She was sobbing and smudging the ink.
She wiped her eyes, "Emotional book."
She closed it and wiped it eyes. It was the grapes of wrath. A completely unemotional, informative book.
"Right..." He said looking at her. He saw one mark on her cheek that hadnt been there the day before
She sighed, "So have you started on your book?"
She chuckled, "It makes more sense as you go on."
She smiled and brushed her hair out of her face, "You'll like it."
She sighed and leaned back against her tree.
"It's nothing. I...I just...It's things I should have gotten over by now."
"Believe me. It's so old you wouldn't believe me."

She said, "I'm sorry I'm not telling you...it's...it's just personal."
She said, "I'm sorry I'm not telling you...it's...it's just personal."
She nodded, "Who do you live with? Like grandparents or just direct family or what?"
" well I live with my dad and brother right now but my grandma wants me to move in with her because she's lonely in her big house." He said softly
She shook her head, "Not really. Mom works night and sleeps in the day and my brother...well, it's complicated but we don't exactly get along."
