"Stay here then.." he said suddenly. He remembered that they had an old house just outside of town. They could go there for a while

He sighed softly," He won't.... We have a house on the edge of town we can stay at."
"You...you might not be able to come back here though..."
He nodded," I know I've already told my grandmother."'
She nodded and sighed, "Alright."
"We started to clean the other house and get it ready just in case"
"We can go there now or sneak back to your house if you want anything there."
She shook her head, "I don't want to accidentally overlap Carl."
"You sure you don't want anything there?" He asked looking down at her
She nodded, "Really. I can survive without it."
"You're welcome." He said softly kissing her cheek
He smiled back," Alright so now we stay here for a bit then go tonight before it gets dark."
"So what would you like to do until then?"
"Good answer." He said burying his face against her neck
He kept his arms tight around her
She whispered, "I hope he doesn't hurt you."
"It will be fine." He whispered back
"Do you want to get breakfast?"
She nodded, "Carl almost never let's me eat. I get so hungry..."
He nodded," that's true lets feed you then."
"Your welcome." He said getting up and pulling her gently with him
He smiled at her and lead her down the stairs
She followed. She walked with a limp from the rough past few nights she'd gone through.
He watched her with a slight frown
She smiled so he wouldn't worry.
He stopped in the kitchen,"What would you like?"
He nodded a little," Ummm...... How about French toast?"
