She rushed home, not wanting to be late.
He went around and cleaned up the kitchen
She went home and made him pasta.

"Pasta in a homemade alfredo. What you wanted last night." She had made him steak last night.
He walked into the living room," alright."
He went into the kitchen." Is it made already?"
She gulped, hoping he didn't freak out when it was a little cold. He had gotten home late.
Carl sat down and started eating," How long ago did you make this?" He yelled
"Th-thirty minutes ago," she whispered softly.
"And you didn't think to keep it warm?"
"I thought you'd be home sooner..." she was bracing herself or an attack already.
"Well next time don't assume." He said coming into the living room
She shook he scared her so bad. His calm anger made her feel so weak.

She shrunk, "What about...now?" Carl was so much taller than her. By like nearly a foot.
He stared down at her cowering on the couch," I may."
She raised her hands to at least protect her face.
Carl rolled his eyes and walked away slowly. He would come back for her later
She shook on the couch and cried silently. Why her? Why now?
He went to his room for a little bit. He let her worry for a little while
She rubbed her eyes and tried to sneak some food.
He came back down the stairs to see what she was doing
She didn't realize and was nibbling his favorite chocolate.
Carl frowned," What do you think your doing?" He yelled at her
She shoved it away whimpering, "I'm hungry..."
"Yeah well don't eat my stuff." He said loudly
"It's all yours though," tears ran down her face, "Please don't hurt me."
"Get out." He said pointing out of the kitchen. His words were starting to slur
Oh, no, she thought. He had been drinking she ran straight for her room and wished it locked.
Carl grabbed a another beer from the fridge and took it into the living room with him
She decided to try something she'd never done before and knew she'd pay for it tomorrow. In the dark of night she snuck out through her bedroom window and ran.
Carl went upstairs after he was pretty drink he had decided that he would have some fun with his sister. He just about fell through her door and looked around her room not seeing her he checked all of her normal hiding spots
She was crying and running through the woods. She wanted to find Nick but didn't want to bother his grandmother. She threw rocks at hid bedroom window.
Carl looked all over their house for her Nick woke to something hitting his window. When it didn't stop he got out of bed and threw it open and looked out. He frowned when he saw Stacey," Stacey?" He asked looking at her
"Can I come in? Nick, I'm terrified..."
Nick sighed a little," okay. I'll see you later then?"
